A brilliant experience booking ourselves at this hotel. I stayed here in June with my family and we started our Italian holiday with our stay in Milan at this hotel and it indeed created a very high benchmark of service in our minds.

Excellent room, very prompt service by the hotel staff, and the best was the breakfast - everything was freshly made every day. We stayed here for 3 nights and experienced their impeccable service at the breakfast table. Absolutely brilliant.

The metro is 2 mins from the hotel, otherwise, if you like to walk - most tourist places like the Cathedral Del Duomo, Vittorio Emmanuel, and others are close by 15 mins walk.

Highly recommend you to book this place. Totally worth it!

This hotel is in a great location. Il Duomo and la Scala are about a 20-minute walk away and you can walk through the public gardens on the way there. There are numerous restaurants in the area and we just strolled around until we found one that had a table. If you want to sit outside on a Saturday night, I advise you to reserve a table in advance.

We found the staff to be very professional and helpful. The receptionist even called the restaurant over the street to confirm that they had a table for us and our dogs.

Our room overlooked the street but despite the street being busy, the room was very quiet.

The room was very clean and I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel.

If travelling with a car, you can park outside and unload. A parking service then collects the car and delivers it for you the next day. This cost about EUR 34 for the single night were there – plus the EUR 2 coin the driver took from our centre console.

Dear "Sean M", thank you for your kind words and I am so pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay during these challenging times. I am pleased to say that the atmosphere in Milan has improved dramatically and we are starting to live our lives quite "normally". Let's hope it remains like that. I am sorry that the 2 euros were missing from your car and I will bring this up with our external partner. This should not happen. My apologies. I trust this did not change your overall impression of your stay with us. Best regards Frank Camilleri General Manager

Breakfast: We eat breakfast everyday at the hotel. Wonderful to be served by Domenico and his staff. Always got everything we wanted. Even before we asked for it, it was there (we both loved the red orange juice).

Room: The bed was perfect. You could charge and turn of Lights from the bed. The bed was nicely done every day. We got a bathrobe, and slippers (one pair for the room and one pair to walk down. Small details that they hade one big and one small pair adds to the total experience ) to use to go down in the spa. Easy to use safe and a full fridge with water, beer, wine and soft drinks. Even space to put your own drinks. Always filled up so perfect <3

Bathroom: well equipped with different products and possibilities to get more if needed like shaving. The rain shower was amazing, the same was the handling of it with easy push buttons to start stop with perfect water flow. The toilet had a hand held shower. Love it!

Sauna: nice sauna with relaxing area, and massage (did not use), but missed towels there when we went out.

Place: in the centre right on the M1 tube line. Very easy walking and using this

Transport to the airport: We ordered transport to the Airport through the reception and what a transport. Going out in the latest Mercedes S Class 500 is just amazing. What a car to be transported in. With reclining air conditioned seats, the trip to the airport was way too short. It would actually been just fine to be driven all the way home (Norway) in that car. So never miss the opportunity to order through the hotel reception.

Only issue we had was with the heating/cooling of the room. It was not possible to adjust the temperature (23,4 ) since the system was down from day 2. We solved it by opening the window (and did not talk with the staff about it, so we cannot complain)

All in all a great stay and we will highly recommend the place and it is fantastic staff.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights. The hotel is well located in central Milan, and very close to the subway.

My room looked like it had been recently renovated and was well sized, with lots of storage available for hanging clothes. The bathroom was large, with a powerful shower.

Breakfast was fine and is what you would expect for any hotel, and the free bottles of water were very appreciated in the heat.

The only downside to my stay was that my party was split on arrival - the hotel had been overbooked due to a cancelled flight. However, the receptionist quickly arranged alternative accommodation and transport there for the affected members of my group.

All in all a great stay, and I'll be back in the future.

Very nice hotel on a lovely avenue, 20mn by foot from the Duomo, with a lovely little spa. Great attentive staff: Ricardo is a gem!
Spacious, bright executive room, very quiet since it gave onto a courtyard ( however, you may feel the metro vibrations at 6am if you are a very light sleeper). Bedding is excellent. Only downside is the light switches on both sides of the bed that stay lit all night and are bothersome when you need darkness to sleep ( next time we'll ask for a non renovated room, may be it will be less connected).
Breakfast is excellent and hygienic since it is brought to your table by congenial staff. On this subject, kudos for perfect cleanliness and sanitary measures!
And last but not least, a delightful, immaculate little spa that you have to reserve and that will be yours alone, for 30mns (Covid restrictions). Nice steam room, sauna, and small pool/basin to relax! And a good choice of massages.
Well worth it!

Do not be fooled by the amazing marketed pictures - it looks nothing like these. I didn’t realize it was going to be so bad considering the price I paid. There is no sound proofing my initial room was tiny when I requested a change I was moved to another room that was slightly more spacious but with zero natural light. There are long windows facing another building blocking any views. They have no outdoor bar no terrace & their indoor courtyard was under construction right under my initial room. Being woken up early by drilling isn’t my idea of fun.
Considering the very very high price I’m appalled. Location is absolutely brilliant but I think I’d preferred a better hotel with a commute.

Dear Gdiet, Thank you for taking time to write us. We are really sorry that your first room was too small and the room soundproofing didn't meet your expectation. The construction of the indoor courtyard has been now completed and is possible to drink or have lunch or dinner in this area. We truly wish we can get the chance of having you once again with us in the future. Best Regards Sonja

We stayed for 3 nights at Christophoro Colombo and all was going well until we decided to go to the spa.

It was just us and another couple in the jacuzzi when the responsible of the spa (Stefania) came in and pointed my boyfriend with the finger and asked him to stand up. She came out of the blue, provided no explanation and just asked him to stand up, he did and then she left. We were really confused and went to ask her what was that about to what she said: “someone reported a man with no swimming costume in the spa” to what I replied: “there were two men in the jacuzzi, why did just pointed at him?” And she replied: “because the person indicated it was him” from that point I knew this was going to end bad…

We asked to speak with the manager and she brought us upstairs. She was explaining the situation in Italian to the two people at reception (Valentina and Enrico). Stefania told them that the person who reported this, mentioned that the person with no swimming costume had darker colour of skin and since he was the only one, that is why she pointed at him… She probably didn’t know that I understand Italian perfectly so I let her finished and then I expressed how her approach was extremely unprofessional and racist. A person reporting something does not mean it is true (and she realised of that soon enough since my boyfriend was wearing indeed a swimming costume) and it is her responsibility to approach the situation in a professional way asking both men to stand up as they were both innocent, instead of coming and pointing with her finger incriminating someone with no proof.

Valentina and Enrico were extremely apologetic and emphatic with the situation, they obviously not charged us for the spa and tried to accommodate us the best they could for the rest of our staying. But Stefania was showing an attitude on the top of it and we hope the manager can take this seriously enough and made her pay for the consequences because facing these situations is unacceptable.

At check out they mentioned that our case would be reviewed and further refund would be considered for the inconvenience which turned out not being true as this was denied after us being the ones chasing on this a month after… Really disappointing!

On a positive note, shout out to the 2 lovely women at breakfast, the host (with glasses) and the one taking orders (blond shorted hair) sorry can’t remember their names but both were really welcoming and had such a great energy!

We had an executive room for two nights on the 6th floor. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable bed, great big shower. We weren't in the room much as we spent most of the time wondering round the city. The metro line 1 (red line) is just outside, 3 stops to Duomo, about a 15 euro taxi ride from Linate airport, Didn't use the spa or breakfast. In fact we found a nice breakfast place on the last day, Eppol on Via Marcello Malpighi. There is also a fully stocked supermarket not far from the hotel. Staff were friendly, check in was quick (we arrived at 17:30)

I don’t usually write reviews but I decided I would in this case. I rang this hotel on behalf of my parents who were due to stay there but their travel plans had changed. I have no Italian and when I spoke to the woman on the phone she very kindly spoke to me in English. Very friendly and very accommodating a credit to the hotel. As such I will be staying at this hotel on my next visit to Milan as will my parents and I will also be recommending it to friends. Once again a big Thank you

Warm welcome with a room upgrade. Excellent central location walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Clean, nice bar and comfortable room. No iron. Disappointing to have to pay additional amount for spa. Parking nearby £34 euro per day, so 100 euro extra for couples spa and parking, worth taking into account when booking.

Dear Mrs Hum. thank you for contacting us. The closest airport to the hotel and therefore to the city centre is Linate Airport. It is a 15 min taxi ride which should cost around 20 euros. If you are landing in Malpensa or in Bergamo airport, I suggest you use the efficient bus service to the central station which costs around 10 eurs and then catch a taxi from there. The hotel is a 5 minute ride away. I trust this answers your question but do not hesitate to ask should you need further assistance. Best regards Frank Camilleri General Manager
