The hotel was lovely, very clean and quite with artefacts and a nice bar. China town is within walking distance as well as a bus and tram stop. There was a really nice pizza/pasta restaurant about 10 mins walk away with very reasonable prices.

Depending which airport you mean, there is more than one. We arrived in the Bergamo Airport, which is far away from the city. We took a bus ride (1 hour) to Milan city center and then a 5 minute ride on the subway to get to the hotel. There are also trams stopping close to the hotel, it's in a good spot.
