My stay at Hotel Berna was a very pleasant one. Firstly the location was excellent one minute away from the metro and 2 minutes away from the bus station to the airport.....breakfast was great with a vast selection of healthy options and also a variety of sweets so there was something available to everyones liking. The rooms were very clean...

We had a good stay for our final night in Italy before going home. Rooms are clean, location is good, and the staffs are friendly. It was quite a good value for a room in expensive Milan.

This is our second stay at the Hotel Berna this time staying for 4 nights and as on our first visit we were delighted with the service--very helpful staff at reception. Our bedroom was nicely furnished, quiet and the complimentary soft drinks in the fridge much appreciated as the weather was warm for the time of year. The buffet style breakfast...

We chose the Berna because of Tripadvisor reviews. This hotel is located perfectly. We were able to walk everywhere without having to hop on any of the metros as the location of the hotel was close to city center. The hotel is located about 2 minutes walking distance from the Central Train Station/Metro which you can get a 10 euro...

The Hotel is splendid, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast are tasty and of good choice. The location is also just very good, metro station is within 2-3 minutes walk and that is a direct line to Duomo station. Spent 6 nights in the hotel and really appreciated my choice. Definetely worth returning back there again.

As time passes I get to reach better places. Whilst not my favourite because of the location (Central Station, but not on the right side for me) and also the rooms are small - I did take a Confort room, not a standard one. Keys for this hotel are: the breakfast which is just lovely, will lots of choice and...

Stayed at Hotel Berna with my wife for 2 nights. Milan was out last stop of our 3 country holiday. Hotel Berna was definitely the best hotel, minus the view we had in Hotel Bellevue in Wengen Switzerland, for the holiday. Metro was less then a brisk walk. I must be honest that the initial reason I choose Hotel Berna...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
