Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

Stayed at the hotel for a business trip during December.
Read some mixed reviews on the hotel prior to my visit, but decided to take a chance due to a great price and location.
Was pleasantly surprised!
First of all, the hotel used to be a monastery, which - for me - adds some ch

Dear Niv B, we are glad to read that you have had a comfortable stay at our Hotel. Indeed being a former monastery is one of our strength points, together with the central position. We thank you for the time you have spent to send us your kind and positive feedback and we hope to see you again, soon. Yours sincerely,

I stayed for 3 nights for business reasons. This hotel is 10-15 minutes walk from the university and this was the main reason for my choice. I wish I’d read some of the reviews below before booking.

On arriving my taxi parked quite close and the driver said ‘go through there’.

Cheap well located hotel. Very inconvenient if you travel by car as difficult to stop to unload luggage and nobody willing to help.
No frills all around but decent clean rooms with ok bedding.
3 stars but closer to 2 by my opinion.
Breakfast is nice.

A simple but comfortable no frills hotel in a fairly central location. Comfortable room, small bathroom, simple but sufficient breakfast included at a very reasonable price, just over 100 Euro per night. Hotel hosts a lot of events so try and get a room to the rear as the front w

The location is good, the room is big and have a small terrace but it’s not a noise prove. We can hear the water sound from the next room. The room service is terrible, when we asked them to clean our room they didn’t change the dirty coffee cups and didn’t empty the trash. The r

I've booked to stay at this hotel I'm 17 is this going to be ok once I get here
I agree with the other answers that you should look into the hotels policy of adults under 18. The hotel is very simple and in a good area. It is close to train station and the main downtown area.

I booked a room for my husband and myself and our eight year old daughter for July 4th through the 7th. After booking the room it gave room details as "one twin or one queen bed". Will our room actually have accommodations for the three of us?
I would mail/call the hotel to verify your booking and number of persons. The description of the bed is standard, to allow you or alert you :-), that you might have to sleep close. I would ask for confirmation of the last spare bed for the child. Enjoy your stay

I'll be staying here for 3 nights starting June 28th. Will the air conditioning be working? If so, will it be on all night? How many of the rooms have been renovated?
The air con is working and is controllable in your room via a thermostat and controller so you have the control on it. Don't know how many rooms have been renovated but to mu knowledge a large proportion has been.

Where can I find the email address for Palazzo delle Stelline? A few questions: (1) I have booked an excursion on Bernino Express Train during my stay at your hotel. The meeting place is near Sforza Castle, is that far from the hotel? (2) When we depart Milan, we will head to Venice via train. How far is Central train station from the hotel? Will we require a taxi or shuttle? Thank you for your help with these matters. Kind regards, Diane N.
You can find the address on the hotel page. The hotel is walking distance to the nearest metro around 7-10 min. So travelling by metro is convenient But booking a cab would be advisable in case you have luggage. It's not too far to the central statio

what parking is available?
No idea. Sorry. It is in central Milan and they may simply point you to parking garages.
