The hotel location was perfect for me, since I would spend two of my three days in Milan doing daytrips to Como, Bellagio, and Bergamo. I basically just slept, had breakfast, and left the hotel every day by 07:30 AM. One day, however, I walked from the hotel to Piazza del Duomo. I wasn't in any hurry. It was quite...

I stayed for one night at the Hotel Garda. I had a very early train to catch the next morning from Milan Centrale and the hotel is located just across the road from the station (5 mins walk). There is a lift to all floors and free wifi. The single room was reasonable in size, comfortable, bright, clean and airy...

Being a 3* Hotel was not a concern of mine....being close to the Train station (Milan Centrale) was more important to us. It was a nice quiet hotel, clean, good service, good breakfast everyday and we felt very comfortable. For what we paid and its location, I would definitely go back there and stay.

my wife and I stayed here one night - as we were ending our trip. it is across the street from Milano Centrale - and made catching the early train to the airport very easy. The room is clean, but very basic - good bed and shower. With the discount it was only 98 euros.

Me and my brothers wifes stayed here for 5 days during F1 2016 at Monza. A perfect location, central station with trains to Monza just outside the door. A nice hotel with clean rooms and great beds. 30min walk to Ferrari store downtown with several stores and great restaurants. Recommend this hotel to all but especially to those going to...

We only booked it because of its proximity to Milan Central Station - exactly opposite the station. And it was exactly what we had expected it to be. The facilities were not great. The lift was tiny and the room looked old and tired. The shower was not much of force etc However it suited our purpose as a place...

Is a three star hotel, excellent located, 200m from Milano Centrale, 30' walk to the Dome, 10' to via Buenos Aires, one of the main shopping street. Train, metro, tram nearby and one of the three lines, A, B and C (linea B) of Tourist Bus. This one I recommend, to quickly learn the area of interest in Milano (23/...

This hotel is not about the luxury, but rather convenience. It is located a few minutes from Central Station. Room was small, but very pleasant, looked new, and clean. Staff was helpful and professional. It is an excellent place to stay if just for an overnight.

The hotel is located very near to the train station and the Centrale metro station. Milan isn't as compact as other Italian cities so it was very convenient to be able to hop on the metro when feeling a bit tired! The hotel itself was good value, the wifi worked fine, and you get what you pay for - the...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
