Researching Milan hotels on a mid-range budget I concluded that the choices were 1. City centre hotels, where the rooms were usually small and the prices high, 2. Hotels in the suburbs, where the accommodation was more spacious but the metro ride into the centre long, and the local restaurants few, and 3. Hotels like this one just outside the...

Clean hotel, with a buffet breakfast. The staff were always helpful with any questions. The photos are accurate. Right beside the underground, as in right beside it. Close to amazing restaurants, some great little bars and close to high street shops. I'd stay again.

We had a great stay at Hotel Fenice. The room was neat and tidy and the bathroom was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and the coffee was great. The location is central to everything you need for your break in Milan.

This hotel is staffed with very helpful and friendly people. It is clean and the rooms are nice. It's location is wonderful. It sits right in front of a Metro station and that makes it very accessible to many things. The area is very nice surrounded by shops and restaurants as well.

I will give this hotel 5 stars. The service excellence, the location, the food, the staff who all spoke English made our stay more comfortable. It's position in the city is close to everything. Right outside is the bus stop and tram station, below that is the subway station. A perfect place to stay.

This hotel is very well located at the edge of the city center and in front of the M1 metro station. It is a traditional hotel with a good continental + breakfast and friendly staff Internet is complicated because you have to punch in user, password and room number almost every time you need it. The bathrooms have been renovated...

I found other reviews helpful and overall accurate. This hotel is comfortable, nicely located although not right in the heart of things (get the hang of metro), and has an excellent breakfast - and excellent wifi which I notice more and more nowadays. Room not large, but with high ceilings and nice furnishings was very pleasant overall. Pretty small bathroom...

I rate this hotel very highly. Well positioned with the underground virtually next door, taxi rank on the other side of the road and within walking distance of the key tourist destinations of the city. Perhaps more importantly the service I was provided with was exceptional - illustrated by the fact that I checked out on Sunday but my train...
