My four month pregnant wife and I stayed for 5 nights at Hotel Cavour. Before our arrival, I had several e-mail exchanges with the reservation desk as well as the hotel manager who responded positively to our specific requests. Although I agree with several Tripadvisor members that the rooms are small (probably around 15-16 square meters), I know as a...

A nice old style city centre hotel room Okay, Ideal hotel for touring the shopping scene, found the service a bit aloof, and stuffy not the personal touch you would expect from this type of hotel, however the other F1 enthusiast staying in the hotel made the stay amusing, We did make the mistake of ordering room service,it was inedible...

Attracted by Brera neighbourhood, enchanted by the elegant and refined lobby and fascinated by the history of the famous Italian hoteliers, we anticipated to find a hallmark of quality and hospitality. Well, surely not a disaster but nothing really to enjoy. Apart from well-appointed lobby, there is not much to say about the amenities. The rooms are spacious but dated,...

Dear Ms. Helen, We thank you very much for your comment very helpful to improve our service. We are pleased you appreciated our lobby as its eceltics style can be difficult to be understood. About the room we hope you will give us the opportunity to try our new executive rooms: a real 5 star Luxury standard situation. If you...

Adjacent to the Fashion district, the Brera quarteer and the public park. Value is reasonable, probably it should be 10-15% cheaper, to be a dated structure (and a dated concept of Hotel). Rooms are rather fine, tough and service is in expectable range. It could be recommended as practical, safe choice for tourists. If you look for something fancy, for...

Dear Sir, we thank you very much for your comment very usefull for us. We are happy to inform you that we just opened new executive rooms. They have a luxury modern style, they are very large (about 35 square meters) and overtake 5 stars standar. The staff was very helpful. Bathroom a little small. The hotel is close to the Metro system. The beds were comfortable. The restaurant was not open every night. That was OK because there was a bar menu but there is minimal choices.

I spent two days at the Hotel Cavour, that I chose because of its proximity to the US Consulate. I booked a suite because I wanted office space and needed to work. Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
