+ Good price. Our room was a bit small but with a very big bed and crispy linens. Hotel staff was very helpful. And breakfast was pretty good too. Close to the train station and subway. Located in quiet area which isn't very common for a train station area. - AC wasn't working. Shower curtain is weird. Elevator is really...

We were staying here on a 2day break. The first night we stayed in Bergamo - the second night here - this hotel has a lovely lobby the reception staff are very helpful and our room, even though looking into the well of the hotel was clean and comfortable. We felt that it was too far away from the centre...

Read a few reviews and were not totally convinced about Soperga. However pleasantly surprised. Arrived at the station at 21.30 and walked round to hotel which was easy to find. Reception staff very helpfuland directed us to a lovely restaraunt which we went each night it was so reasonably priced. We were there for 4 nights and the room was...

We stayed here at the start of October. I booked it because of it's closeness to the station, the amazing price on Venere(-) and the fact that it was a 3*. Overall we were very satisfied. Our room was not tiny, unlike the previous reviewer's room. It was clean well equipped and perfectly comfortable with mini-bar, desk, pay per view...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two separate nights, at the beginning of our trip and at the conclusion of our trip. The hotel is okay. It's not the best choice. The lobby is gorgeous. When you walk in, you can't wait to get to your room. Unfortunately, that excitement fades fast. The rooms are tiny. There...

I am not sure if I would rate this as a 3 star hotel-2 1/2 is probably more accurate. While the staff is quite friendly and informative the lobby is probably the best feature of the hotel. When you went upstairs to the rooms the hallway was very dimly lit which is a little scary. The hotel could do with...

We stayed at the Soperga in July 2004 for 12 nights as package deal through expedia. The room was fairly clean, and we agree the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the air conditioning is turned off every night for several hours and it got very hot in the room. As it is near the train station and noisy, opening...

After reading the reviews, I booked at the Soperga for 2 nights in early July. Would definitely stay there again. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with taxi's and restaurant recommendations. I had an EXCELLENT pizza very nearby at Bel Paese (the bel paese special pizza was great). The shower was indeed small but same as have seen...

We stayed at the Soperga for two nights in Jun 04. The room and the bathroom was clean. There was also a little refrigerator (mini-bar) in the room. We were totally satisfied when we arrived in our room, but as the other reviewers mentioned, the walls were paper thin. As it got later at night, I could hear people's televisions,...

I stayed there for one night in May 04. A very comfortable and quiet room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, good location. Nearby was a lively and friendly small restaurant which the staff recommended. I'll definitely use this hotel again if I visit Milan in the future.

Staying in Bicocca

Neighbourhood Profile
Bicocca
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.
