Not a good memory there. Hotel felt odd unfriendly and I had to keep the windows open because of a smell.... location is so so but still walking distance to Duomo. Spend extra $50 and stay somewhere else...

The hotel is central, but in an area of strip clubs. Not what we had in mind around the Duomo. Otherwise, rooms were stuffy and poorly decorated (70's style), with really tiny beds. The decor was depressing, we skipped breakfast every day just to get out of there into nicer areas of Milan.

Booked a triple room for 3 adults. Had a double bed and bed settee, which our adult son said was comfortable. The room was spacious and clean although the decor was rather dated and we did switch the heating/air con off as it was noisy and rather absurdly I was getting static shocks off everything metal. The room however was...

This is the third time that my wife and I stay at Brunelleschi Hotel Milan, and it was as good as the previous visits. The hotel has an excellent location, the rooms are very comfortable, and everything is extremely clean. Their staff is quite pleasant and they offer every service you may ask for. We will continue to stay at...

The on line photos of this hotel especially the main one looked a bit weird to me. However the area got a good rating and the price was not exorbitant. It was a very pleasant surprise. A few minutes walk from the station and an easy walk to Milan Cathedral, Sforza castle, many restaurants and good shopping. The hotel is of...

Very convenient location close to Duomo. The rooms are large, clean with many facilities especially for businessmen. When we arrived the room was not ready and we had to wait for sometime. We had to ask the front desk if the room was done after one hour. They didn't bother to tell us before we ask even though we were...

I stayed for three nights in a double room, heating was on full the entire stay and to cap it all I'm covered in bed bug bites. The Bar man was a good chap however the bar closes early on Friday and Saturday which I found rather odd.

Hotel that reminds you of another time with an Italian approach. The rooms have a funny list of buttons, reminds me of some old James Bond film. Hotel is nice, authentic and located centrally. Would not overpay for this location and rooms, but if in budget definitely a solid option.

The hotel was a trifle expensive but good. The rooms were quite spacious and All facilities in the room were up to the mark. the staff was polite and helpful. The location was good too- just about 5 min by foot away from the duomo. The breakfast was pretty lavish too. We visited here towards the end of nov 2016...

In the heart of Milano, near he Duomo, classy, historical hotel, friendly service, rooms for all price: some really large and luxurious, some pretty small, but still with a style. Some bathrooms feels a little "old". Good breakfast

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
