Good location, walkable to key attractions including metro. Walking into building is misleading, we struggled to find entrance as you enter through office like entrance between an outdoor sitting area to a restaurant. Rooms were nice, mostly all white and elegantly set up. Shower was powerful and nice. Not common to come across in hotels. Mini kitchenette in room with...

The apartment's excellent - clean, modern, comes with free wi-fi and all the utensils and toiletries you might need for a short stay. And honestly, nothing beats its location if you're just in Milan for a couple of days and want to be close to the sights to cut down on travelling time - just around the corner from the...

Room and facilities were fine but doorman on building, doesn't work for Allegro, and is rude and unhelpful. Just ignore him! Address is hard for taxi drivers but say it behind the Excelsior Hotel and you will be fine.

Centrally located with easy access to everywhere. A bit of noise, since the apartment is on the busy shopping street behind the Duomo, no problem for us. For brand name products shopping, it is a short walking distance nearby.

It's a few flats in an office/apartment building, no front desk, no help whatsoever. Checkin can only be done 12/17 or be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes outside on the street, even if you call upon landing to let them know you are coming. Check out at 10:30 and nowhere to leave suitcases after you that, oh btw...

Location is great. In the Duomo Di Milano itself. Spacious and well equipped room. Was able to check in an hour earlier which was 1PM!. However, the experience was plagued by: 1) Non existence service. 2) Check out time 10.30am 3) No luggage storage. You have to just leave. 4) No box of tissues and no information on how and...

Low cost lodging in Milan so do not expect a front desk or bell services. However, we were provided with a clean room that is large for European standards. Walk-in closet surprised me. No bath tub but towels and toiletries provided were sufficient. Wifi is free and fast. The place is air-conditioned but still felt warm at night. Hotel is...

There is no better spot or host than Giusseppe and Allegro Apartments. We've stayed twice and the location is perfect. Great kitchenette and comfy beds. You are in the center of Milan and while you won't be bothered by traffic noise you will notice the constant hum of La Vita Bella wafting from the Cso Vittorio Emanuelle below. Allegro offers...

Great location, just a few streets away from the Duomo. The apartment is very cleverly laid out (e.g. walk-in wardrobe). Great furnishings, and nice little touches like L'occitane toiletries in the bathroom. Have stayed in hotels around the Duomo before, and whilst they are nice, they are nothing like the Allegro apartments. You do need to check out about 10.30/11.00,...

Worst experience ever. Stay away from this place if you are going to need to keep your luggage stored, as they will kick you out at 10.30 am. Had I known it before I would have cancelled, and they only take cash no credit card. They only put credit card on file while booking and when you checkin they ask...

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

“we stayed in vittorio suite which overlooks the main shopping street and one can see the duomo from this room. it's a decent sized room and had a sofa bed but only 2 people are allowed for some reason. the other type of studio was much bigger but not front street facing but equally noisy and no proper curtains only blinds like in offices, therefore some light seeped through. size and cleanliness was good in both apartments.”
