I have travelled around the world for many years now and can honestly say I have never experienced anything quite like it. The description “hotel” is obviously a new definition of the word. On arrival at what appeared to be a deserted house the taxi driver asked me if I was sure this was an hotel. We were tired so I decided not to take things at face value and paid the driver. We phoned the number as instructed on the booking printout and a man said he would be there in five minutes, I thought he must be busy in the building. After fifteen minutes I phoned the number and was told I should have phoned twenty minutes before I arrived as in the booking confirmation. I tried to explain that this was not the information I had but was talked over by this very rude man who would not listen but just kept saying the same thing over and over again. Eventually I asked my partner to speak to him in Italian after a few seconds he hung up. Finally after about 25 minutes of standing in the cold a... More

There were few positives on the stay, but some negatives, too... I came there at 10 a.m. ifthere is a possibility to have 2rooms there. It was quite "quickly" (in Italian way) prepared. The rooms were truly clean and well prepared. Nevertheless first we were told 10 EUR for parking, than 15 EUR, so we just parked outside... the neighbourhood is fine and clean.. whata wonder 800 meters away, where is HotelGreco is not so pleasant and safe to be...

Than the next morning "clerk" came at 10:15 after few calls, that we are waiting, he told us several times, that breakfast is from 8:30 (even though it was 10 a.m. at the time). Than the brakfast included 3 kinds of packed croissants from the grocery shop next door. And you could choose out of Cappuccino, Latté and Espresso, but you have to wait 20 minutes for the heating of the pre-historical machine.

Staying in Bicocca

Neighbourhood Profile
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.
