I was a bit skeptical when we pulled up to the hotel and the entrance and lobby that you initially see is quite small, but the hotel is great and I would highly recommend it for a short stay in Milan. Our room itself wasn't really luxurious and was right next to the elevator (which fortunately we couldn't hear), but...

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at the hotel while visiting Milan and it was a wonderful experience in every way. From the moment I made the reservation a few months ago, I was impressed with the email correspondence from the hotel - always quick and friendly. Shortly before departing for Italy, I emailed to see if they...

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Lovely and helpful reception staff and fantastic breakfast. We stayed here for two nights after a business trip to a nearby area, we were lucky enough to have an upgrade to our room and we had a beautiful view with a balcony We would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be returning

We just completed a 3 week tour of Italy that ended in Milan at the Hotel Spadari. Out of the 6 hotels we stayed at in Italy, this one was the best value, had the best customer service, and the best breakfast buffet. You get 5 star quality service and all the extras that you would get in a super...

We spent two nights at the Spadari during a short visit to Milan, and had an excellent experience. The hotel is about a 15-20-minute taxi ride from the main train station, and is located on a city-center street a short walk from the Duomo and many other central Milan sights. Foodies should note that the hotel is adjacent to Peck,...

Only about two blocks from the Duomo, the hotel could not have a better location. Then the fact that the hotel was well run with a very comfortable room was a bonus. My wife and I spent 4 nights and were very happy. Our room had double vanity sinks which is unusual in Europe. Memory foam pillows were the best...

We wanted to be near the Biblioteca Ambrosiana so this hotel was perfect for us, and it is near everything else as well! The hotel design is beautiful--all in shades of blue with lighter notes of orange. The bed was super-comfortable and the bathroom very well organised. The staff were extremely friendly and charming. NB you can get room-service type...

This is a really fabulous place to stay when in Milan - very close to the Duomo, La Scala, everything - not the cheapest, but it's really worth its price - great staff, nice rooms, wonderful breakfast. Do choose a room with a terrace and off the street as they are quite noisy - to complement this - the very...

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The location is perfect, it took us less than 10 minutes by taxi to reach the hotel from Cadorna train station (airport express). Major attractions including Duomo, La Scala etc were within 5-10 minutes on foot. There is a big delicatessen Peck next to the hotel, at least 2...

Small hotel nearby Duomo. Excellent location, very good breakfast , with eggs, buffalo mozarela, vegetable, fruits, etc. Nice, polite and helpful staff. Rooms are small but clean ( try avoid room nr. 31- small with no view at all and very dark - depressive). Otherwise hotel is not new, so the furniture looks really used and not nice. Very good...

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

“If staying in the duplex room, have the staff show you how to adjust the thermostat when you check in. Our thermostat was programmed to have the air conditioning come on in the early morning hours which made the room too cold, especially for our fourteen month old. After a couple complaints the problem was solved, but I would recommend learning the system on day one to avoid this.”
