A five days, four nights trip in Milan has been brought to perfection thanks to this fine establishment. From the very first impression at the entrance, driving to the front court with my own car, to the lobby, reception and onward, all has been just perfect. From staff, services, room and all amenities, I can only say "wow, this is...

The Principe is part of the Dorcester collection and for good reason. It is a luxury 5 star hotel, set in a historic and iconic building. The service is really of the superior level you only experience in the top hotels of the world. The staff are all excellent. The decoration of the interiors of both public spaces and rooms...

Really great hotel, very traditional but very well kept. I had a great Premier Room, it had a modern bathroom with separate bath tub. Very helpful excellent staff and an excellent breakfast. Great location right next to the Metro, I will be staying here again

This is a really lovely hotel which, as others have testified, clearly ranks service very highly. We were travelling with our young daughter and staff were nothing but welcoming, friendly and helpful at all times. We travelled over Easter weekend and she received not one, not two, but three Easter gifts from staff! We opted for a deluxe room and...

I stayed at this hotel for a short night on a business trip. Service and attention to detail is impeccable. Bathrooms are spacious, modern and come with high end products. The bedroom itself was equally spacious, and very luxurious. The desk could have had a couple of additional charge points, and the modern telephones have illuminated displays, which is slightly...

Stayed there during the period of the salon del mobili. The whole city was bustling and moving. The hotel was packed but the staff there were so welcoming and helpful despite the crowd from all over the world. Indeed it's a five stars hotel but as a frequent traveler one could notice a bit of lack of service or negligence...

We had an amazing stay at Principe di Savoia! The location is terrific- right off a metro stop, close to Porta Nuova and Brera and a short walk (around 15 minutes) to the Duomo and Centro Storico. As first time visitors to Milan, we were unsure whether to stay right near the Duomo or just outside the most touristy area....

A traditional 5-star hotel with service to match. beautifully wooden paneled bedrooms and marble bathrooms. Hand painted walls in the corridors with liveried doormen to greet you upon arrival. The Principe is part of the Dorchester group of de luxe hotels

This is not a 5 star hotel, I am sorry to say. Location is near the train station and takes 20 min to walk into the heart of the city. They have a shuttle, but I only knew about it reading the other reviews on here. There was no advertising, which was strange... The rooms are small and claustrophobic. Def...

From the moment i started seeing the building from Piazza Della Reppubblica, I felt happy booking at this hotel. While entering the hotel, you feel yourself jumping into the past and walking were kings did. It is one of those posh places and full of history. The staff is not less amazing at all. The same lady who checked us...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
