Location: Good location within walking distance of several Milan markers.
Dinner: The hotel has a lounge and restaurant that is not controlled by the hotel. I wouldn't recommend it (see separate review)
Room: Clean and very small. Contemporary in decor.
Sleep quality: Fine

Very convenient location, strategically placed closes to the ‘Quadrilatero’. Quiet and reserved. Good breakfast. However, very small room and not great welcoming staff at my check-in: very formal, detached and cold, which I found quite annoyingMore

Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to
admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).

You can easily go to the cathedral by the underground, it's just two stops. The nearest metero stop from the hotel is called Turati, and from there you can take the underground directly to Duomo (line 3). This line also stops at Milano Centrale (train station).
There are restaurants and bars within a short walk from the hotel as well, especially along Via della Moscova.
