If you are here to shop, sightsee or on business, this is the best located hotel with great service. We visit Milan every year and this is the place for us. Located on Via Gesu, it is easy to walk to all the luxury stores, the many very good restaurants and to your conferences. There are other hotels here but...

I recommend the Four Seasons because it is international and Italian at the same time. Beautiful, refined, chic, high-level, for all cultures. The staff are courteous and excellent at problem solving. It is especially recommended for business events. Excellent food too.

It was shocking to see a hotel of this calibre not being able to manage full reservation. There was a huge korean delegation staying at the time and all other guests were ignored. The hotel staff was stressed and completely flustered. We were asked to move from table at the bar to accommodate the delegation, elevators were blocked and we...

Dear Sir, Please accept my sincere apologies for the discomfort and inconveniences you suffered during your recent stay with us. Indeed there has been a big convention in Milan during the dates of your visit and regrettably in some instances the hotel has suffered for the great displacement of security services and great affluence of visitors. Please accept my sincere...

I had an awesome two night stay here. I had a room in the new wing of the hotel which was absolutely beautiful and perfectly operating and clean. Staff was on point. Arianna (sp?) who checked me in was fantastic. Spa was beautiful. So tranquil, definitely recommend spending time there. Erica gives the most amazing massages!

This was a Return visit about 10 years later and the hotel looks and feels as good as it did our first time here. As usual the staff was gracious and welcoming. We arrived midmorning and advised that room was being cleaned to be ready in 20 minutes. Provided us with a snack and coffee while waiting. Yes, we were...

This hotel has a great location near the Duomo and all the shops and all the amenities you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. It's garden court yard is a wonderful place to relax. But what really sets it aside is the service - the front desk and concierge station staff were exceptional. Friendly - they not only knew our...

Tucked away from the busy shopping streets of Milan, but still less than 5 minutes walk from all the designer shops, the hotel is optimal for leisure and business traveler alike. Service is characteristic for Four Seasons with a great amount of attention to detail, however it does have a bit of Italian touch :). The inner courtyard is pleasant...

Location was great to walk around the center.Nothing about the hotel was very memorable. Well except for they charged us 300+ euro (500 US) just to be picked up from the airport which is absurd given that most 5 star hotel transfers are around 300 US dollars round trip. The most insane charge was the 46 euro to Press my...

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Right in the heart of Milan's most beautiful inner city quarter, the Four Seasons Hotel Milano is just steps from Milan’s famed designer boutiques and magnificent Duomo cathedral. An easy chic feel presides of the hotel's lobby and Il Foyer’s intimate bar and lounge, serving cocktails created by the bar's resident Mixologist. The scene at Il Foyer is framed by granite pillars that once supported the church of a 15th century convent, and the space flows into restaurant La Veranda, specialising in unique award-winning Italian cuisine as well as international delicacies. Tables in the restaurant look onto a meditative view of an exquisite cloistered courtyard. The Hotel offers guests other surprising experiences from a seasonal Chocolate Room created entirely in chocolate to a theme; a Chef’s Table, traditional Milanese aperitivo and cooking classes inside the restaurant’s fabled kitchen, and one of the city’s most creative banquet catering teams. Fragments of frescoes, a beautiful emblem of the building’s sanctified past, create a meditative backdrop for the Hotel's relaxed elegant interiors interspersed with classic architectural flourishes. The Hotel’s 118 rooms and suites are appointed with distinguished diverse designs and offer views over the property’s tranquil manicured inner courtyards, the exclusive street of Via Gesù and typical neoclassical Milanese rooftops or neighbouring quiet private gardens. The Hotel’s newly designed Spa, a warm and tranquil space, fluidly constructed by Patricia Urquoila within the building’s historical architecture offers therapeutic treatments using the finest skincare products as well as a Turkish bath, swimming pool, one-of-a-kind Spa Suite and a 24-hour Fitness Centre. ... more   less
