From the first moment I stepped into this beautiful hotel I truly felt valued and the whole experience was fantastic. The smoothest and most efficient check in ever, no messing about with forms, it was all ready for me and the transition to my room took moments. The room standard was stunning, immaculate interior, very high standards of cleanliness and...

Many folks book at a hotel like this and expect a city oasis.. a resort secreted away in the warrens of the city. Don't expect that here. This is like a perfect hotel in the middle of the greatest out-door mall in the world. The people who stay here are fashionistas looking to expand their wardrobes in the surrounding shops...

Definitely not up to Four Seasons standards or our expectations. Service was inconsistent, at times adequate at times not even that. And the property itself is starting to show its age. Starts at the front door with a less than warm welcome, and continues inside with virtually every interaction. The only genuine smile we got was from a worker changing...

We had a great 2-day stay at the Four Seasons Milano. The hotel offers all you would expect from a Four Seasons and comes with local Italian charme. Staff is very friendly and attentive, the restaurant is excellent (recommend sitting in the beautiful courtyard) and the spa/pool area is quite nice too. The hotel is perfectly located right in the...

This was not what I had expected from a Four Seasons hotel. The rooms were more business class than luxurious, and the food was ok. The Spa and pool were fantastic, the location is incredible, and the staff was both friendly and helpful. This hotel did not meet my expectations as it was neither luxurious nor spacious.

Stayed in a couple different rooms here -- a superior room in the older portion of the hotel, and a junior suite in the newer. I found the former a bit bland and dated but the junior suite was absolutely exceptional, perfectly mixing modernism and elegance. As for the rest? Well, it's a Four Seasons. (My experience at the Bosphorus...

Another absolutely flawless Four Seasons this time in the heart of the Milanese fashion district. Very respectable rooms, an awesome outdoor courtyard for brunch and great concierge service make for a great experience all the way around. My only regret is that I was only there one night. Would love to come back!

This was far from the four seasons experience that I am used to and expect . Previously, I have stayed at the Excelsior in Milan which had much nicer rooms. For starters, when my family arrived, we did not have rooms placed next to each other despite booking over 2 months in advance. The rooms need to be refurbished and...

Amazing stay, excellent service and location! The Hotel is wonderful as usual and maintained as a gem. Front Office, in room dining and Foyer bar provided the best service ever, definitely recommended!

Historic buildings combine to make a hotel complex that is like a maze but interesting. Rooms are among the best, to Four Seasons standard. Location very good and it is also at centre of the fashion area. Service excellent and an outdoor breakfast in town centre is a treat. Of course you have to pay for all these goodies. A...

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Right in the heart of Milan's most beautiful inner city quarter, the Four Seasons Hotel Milano is just steps from Milan’s famed designer boutiques and magnificent Duomo cathedral. An easy chic feel presides of the hotel's lobby and Il Foyer’s intimate bar and lounge, serving cocktails created by the bar's resident Mixologist. The scene at Il Foyer is framed by granite pillars that once supported the church of a 15th century convent, and the space flows into restaurant La Veranda, specialising in unique award-winning Italian cuisine as well as international delicacies. Tables in the restaurant look onto a meditative view of an exquisite cloistered courtyard. The Hotel offers guests other surprising experiences from a seasonal Chocolate Room created entirely in chocolate to a theme; a Chef’s Table, traditional Milanese aperitivo and cooking classes inside the restaurant’s fabled kitchen, and one of the city’s most creative banquet catering teams. Fragments of frescoes, a beautiful emblem of the building’s sanctified past, create a meditative backdrop for the Hotel's relaxed elegant interiors interspersed with classic architectural flourishes. The Hotel’s 118 rooms and suites are appointed with distinguished diverse designs and offer views over the property’s tranquil manicured inner courtyards, the exclusive street of Via Gesù and typical neoclassical Milanese rooftops or neighbouring quiet private gardens. The Hotel’s newly designed Spa, a warm and tranquil space, fluidly constructed by Patricia Urquoila within the building’s historical architecture offers therapeutic treatments using the finest skincare products as well as a Turkish bath, swimming pool, one-of-a-kind Spa Suite and a 24-hour Fitness Centre. ... more   less
