Hosted in the splendid setting of an elegant old building in Downtown Milan, rises PALAZZO SEGRETI, a new hotel concept. Located in the heart of Milan, between the Duomo and the Sforzesco Castle, the ancient soul merges with a modern image, made of sophistication and elegance. Raw materials, soft lighting, precious parquet, vibrant colors but never excessive: an architectural project that wanted the feeling of a second home, focusing on tailor-made livings and intimacy of the spaces. An elegant reception area, which houses important works of art, where to spend pleasant moments, thanks to the Winery. 18 rooms, all different from each other, to find your ideal place of rest and intimacy from the bustle of the city. Ideal for business guests looking for comfort and modernity, but also for refined tourists, given the enviable location in the heart of Milan, just steps away from the fashion district.

I can rave about this hotel for hours if you get me started! The modern design is stunning and meticulously thought out. The staff are as close to perfection as I have ever experienced, and the location is close enough to the Duomo to be convenient but just far enough away to have a sense of peace and tranquility. I've never been a fan of chain hotels and what I appreciate about the Palazzo Segreti is that each room is different and uses the space available to it to be unique. You really must stay here, at least once, because then, I promise you, you'll want to return every time.

Located very centrally, within walking distance from main attractions like Duomo, Scala etc, but still in a quiet side street so there is not too much noise around. There is some noise from the subway and from other rooms but considering the central location this is normal. Small boutique hotel in an old building. Nice design.

Rooms are renovated and are simple, but very stylish. They are of good size. Also the bathroom is large. The furniture is very modern but most of the items are in plastic. Please note that the air condition can not be switched on or off by yourself but needs to be done by the front desk. But they are very helpful so this is not really an issue.

Nice small room for breakfast. The breakfast is very good, good quality and choice. Staff members are all nice and friendly.

Conclusion: very good simple boutique hotel with very good value for money. Yes there are more luxurious hotels in the city, but I find it a very good deal, I can highly recommended it.

I can't recommend this hotel enough. Firstly, the location is perfect- all of the main sights of Milan are easily located via foot or metro. Secondly, the service was faultless- friendly and charming, without being too stuffy- very rare in Milan! The rooms are beautifully appointed, and surprisingly big for a major European city. The daily happy hour with free drinks and snacks is also greatly appreciated. The bed was very comfortable, and the in room amenities, like dressing gowns and bathroom products, felt luxurious. We really enjoyed our stay!

Spent 3 nights with my boyfriend.
Location is great 5 min walk to the Duomo 2 metro station near by. Lots of shopping all around..
First impression was good. The hotel looked very clean, good smell. They’d welcomed us with complimentary wine which was nice. There are nice pieces of art in the public areas of the hotel.
We’ve book the suite (room number 8 as far as I understood the only suite in the hotel). The room was big but nothing special. Strange design. No coffee machine. Complementary water was provided only on the first day and that’s it…The room is very noisy from the Main Street both late night and early morning. The curtains didn’t block the light (they’d put only half curtain to block the light).
Sleeping quality was bad. Bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable.
Shower was good although it had a strange smell..
The worst thing was that the hotel (who rate himself as 4 stars) provided a very limited amount of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner…2 tiny bottles of shower gel for 2 adults (one for each!)who take a shower 2 times a day. We’ve asked every day to have more toiletries ( even from the hotel manager) but although they promised they will put more toiletries in the room- they never did😒
BKF was okay. I suggest to go early because if they run out of food must chances that they will not renew it and you won’t have it. Adding some fresh vegetables can be nice. Coffee was good.
I think that the hotel has a great potential but under the current management it doesn’t work.
Next time in Milan we will choose other hotel.

My friend and I were at the same hotel, the same dates yet had two completely different experiences. She arrived and her bags were taken to her lovely spacious room, with 2 windows, parquetry floors, a canopy bed, comfy armchair and side table, and spacious bathroom with window, large countertop and shower. She was given friendly service and had a delightful time. I dragged my luggage up to my room, which was a small concrete bunker with zero charm, small ensuite and shower. When I went down to the reception to ensure there was a rate difference for these very different rooms, I was told there was not. I felt this was unacceptable and asked to speak with the Manager, who was very unhelpful and gave me the excuse of 'boutique hotel where each room is different'. I accept that in a boutique hotel each room is different, however when there is such a difference in quality, the price should reflect that difference. This hotel is in a sensational area. Has a lovely breakfast and bar. However I cannot recommend it because of the inequality in room rate. See for yourself in the attached

Newly renovated and under new management, this small hotel is a find and worth every nickel. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was lovely and helpful, making dinner reservations for us, suggesting attractions, and doing everything they could to help us. The location is perfect- we were able to walk to all the major sights and to excellent restaurants. STAY HERE!

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The location is very central and ideal for Milan. The hotel is really nice, clean and straight forward. We had a basic room which is a good size and comfortable. Next time we may try the delux rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful - they gave us some great dinner recommandations.
Two things the hotel could improve are: water in the room and better isolation of the door to the room. The hotel/rooms are in general quiet. You dont hear the street or other rooms. What you do hear though is what is going on in the hallway (old elovator, chatting etc.) Probably the doors to the room need more isolation and then all would be perfect.

We LOVED our stay at Palazzo Segreti!

From the warm greeting from Sabrina to our sweet goodbye, the tone was set for an enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed the breakfast and the happy hour. Don’t miss the freshly prepared Peach Bellini.

Our room was extremely comfortable except our bed was really low. It would not be suitable for age related aches or anyone with mobility issues. We were fine, luckily.

The elevator was TIGHT and reminded us not to eat dessert at every meal.

The decor was very eclectic and lots of fun.

Our room was spotless and had a giant bathtub with separate shower, a rarity in Europe.

This hotel and its staff was charm personified. This is not a hotel for folks who like a more standardized experience.

If we go back to Milan, this is where we will stay again. Besides the charm, it was within ten minutes walking of everywhere we wanted to go. Extremely convenient to three main neighborhoods in the city.

We picked this hotel for a very last minute weekend in Milan, now I know why they had rooms available while our other choices did not!
The good: great location, funky decor, nice staff
The bad: lots of noise from both the street and the hallway, the funky decor is chipped and worn around the edges (not in a good way)
Service is basic, not even complimentary water or a kettle in the room.
We make regular visits to Milan but will not be coming back to this hotel... and someone should seriously revise the star rating

My colleagues and I stayed here for 4 nights while attending the Milan Design Week, and our stay couldn’t be more perfect.

The location is amazing. On Via Dante, between the Duomo and Sforza castle. There are restaurants everywhere and 3 metro stations nearby.

The reception team were extremely nice and helpful, as well as the breakfast people. The entrance is somehow small but contained fresh flowers and beautiful suspensions, making it really classy and alive.

We just came back from Milan, where the weather was extremely hotttt, but the AC inside the room was more than perfect! We all slept well.

Big thanks to the whole team. We’ll see you again next year!
