The valet parking arrangements at this hotel are extremely poor. If one orders and pays for valet parking the reasonable expectation is that your car will be safely parked off the street imminently and indeed assurances were given to us at the time we requested valet parking that this would be the case. In fact the valet parking operative will...

The room was very comfortable, with an amazing bed and spacious bathroom. Shower was a real pleasure. I had possibility also to work a bit on the open WiFi that was running at excellent speed any moment.

The hotel is slightly outside the most busy central area of Milan (for my part was this a bonus). Close to the Metro with trams to the Duomo or Porta Ticinese directly outside, walking distance to the canal area. Several good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The hotel is built into an ordinary block of flats, sheltered from the traffic,...

We stayed for one night. Room is small but well furnished, quiet, clean. Hotel is near a metro station (S. Agostino), so getting there from the airport was straightforward. Nice breakfast and a good restaurant.

I will start this review with the negative parts. I am an Accor gold member so I expect a different treatment. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect anything special, only what's advertised as a benefit, like having the room guaranteed 3 days in advance, like taking into account that my arrival is before the normal checkin time, like receiving...

If you are looking for a place in walking distance to a bus, tram and metro as well as to great food, bars and boutiques, stay here. In the hip part of Milan, it isn't touristy or crowded. The hotel has English speaking staff who were helpful and nice. The location near the m2 line is great. There was a...

I booked 2 rooms. We arrived early in the morning, and let our luggages. We were not proposed to put the luggages in the rooms, and then, exhausted after our working day, we had to do it ourselves. When I mentioned to the staff that they could have done it, I was answered that the "italian law" doesn't allow such attention....

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
