Very nice decore. Elegant. Close to the lake, shopping and activities. Drinks are a bit expensive and can come with finger food. Went on the lake to visit the Island. No mosquitos when we were there. The art walk connecting the hotels are a must and free. The service was wonderful. Only down side when we were there was that...

Stayed 3 nights in this italian luxury hotel by Lake Maggiore. The hotel is really large for an italian hotel, +400 rooms and with extremely nice decorated public areas, rooms and garden. Rate for our Junior Suite was affordable and there was a wonderful view to Lake Maggiore from our balcony. All rooms have aircon, minibar and wifi. Breakfast restaurant...

Very impressive facade and lobby leading to Waldorf level expectations. Food was average to good, not creative nor the culinary treat to be expected at this price point. Then again, does the Waldorf do bus tours? I traveled with the premium Globus Tours, whose service, planning, organization, and accommodations have been first rate. Not included in the cost of the...

Don't get me wrong, the hotel is gorgeous, the statues, paintings, scenery, view. Absolutely perfect. When we got to the hotel however, it's a different story. It was ok but it was terribly cramped. The room was nice enough but the space is something that's less to be desired. I was happy to leave so I could stretch my legs!

Be warned of the extra costs Gym - 12 Euros Internet - 20 Euros (!) Parking - 10 Euros Why dont they just charge more for the rooms? Well, they cant as the rooms arent good enough, therefore they make up the extra cash with all the extras. It must be noted however the reception staff are charming and cannot...

We had a great time... between the lake and the pools, our days were filled with summer fun. The hotel staff were great, and the proximity to Stresa was perfect. Further, next to the hotel was a nice stretch of waterfront with several cafes and a playground. We will definitly return.

My husband and I stayed here for a week. The staff was very friendly, very polite and helpful. They kept my food (I was on special diet) in fridge all the time that we stayed there and we liked the location very much (beautiful views) and the breakfast was good. Even though we had to pay extra for the dog...

This is a magnificent Hotel. Very palatial, and we had the best room overlooking the lake. The breakfast we had was buffet style but very nice, the dinner the night before was also very nice. We were only here for 1 night unfortunately. What a beautiful part of the world.

The hotel is very beautiful, big spaces (hall, rooms, garden, restaurant) and amazing view. The location is perfect, on the lakeshore with two big pools (one indoor and one outdoor), and very close to the port and the good restaurants. We paid 119 for a room mountain view (actually, it was on the corner so we had a beautiful lake...

Oh what bliss: No kids club, no organised activities at the pool, just masses of free sun loungers and a usable pool. Admittedly we were there before all the schools broke up for the holidays but I think that this is probably a little off the beaten track. The rooms were of a good size and comfortable, ours looked towards...
