We stayed at the Porto Azzuro for a week at the end of October. Valentina organised the taxi from the airport, which was excellent. The hotel is described as 3 star, which is fair. It had a very small bar in the reception area, which we did not use as did not want to be sat having a drink as...

Stayed 5 nights here as a mid 50's couple. Hotel was fine in everything though breakfast got a bit boring. Had Half Board dinner a couple of times and it was very good value and quality for €20. Didn't like Sirmione as it's really a purpose built resort and no the true Italy for us.

We're happy...

We stayed here for one week in September and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located a short distance outside Sirmione but with the bus service across the road it provided frequent access. We also walked into the town on a few occasions. Our room in the hotel was on the ground floor. It was basic but it was...

We have just spent a week at the Porto Azzuro Hotel. On arrival we were given a map of Lake Garda and sights to see were pointed out to us and where we could get the buses. All the staff throughout the week seemed friendly and spoke with us in English. The hotel is nice and kept spotlessly clean (our...
