Sirmione is a fabulous step back into time, with well-kept very old buildings, narrow streets, and the brilliant Castello Scaligero -- touristy and crowded only at peak hours in the off and semi-off season, perhaps a nightmare in the high season. The Hotel Grifone is a wonderful getaway, down a quiet alley that leads to the lake, and faces the...

The old town of Sirmoine is tourist hell, however we found our little oasis in this hotel! Our room had a massive balcony over looking the castle/fort which allowed us to maintain our sanity in this busy, expensive, beautiful town. The room was good sized, very clean (and cleaned every day), bed comfortable, cupboard with coat hangers, and most importantly...

We got to Sirmione not knowing if we were going to stay the night. The first place we saw was this hotel. As soon as I got in, I felt a nice vibe. A lady, (the owner) welcomed us. When I asked if breakfast was included, she said, yes, a piccolo colazione (a small breakfast) And I mention this because...

Efficiently run, family owned and operated hotel in the historic district (lots of foot traffic) of Sirmione on Lake Garda with magnificent views, a small beach, and the most fantastic breakfasts (presented by Enza) that you will encounter in this type of setting. Rooms are clean and comfortable, though not luxurious, and this has to be one of the great...

We had a lovely stay here. Rooms are basic but very clean and with comfy beds, and all have views of the lake. There's a terrace overlooking the lake where you can have a great breakfast, or drinks in the evening. We were with my young daughter and they were so sweet to her. There's a tiny beach just by...

I visited the Garda lake a long-long time ago and remembered how beautiful Sirmione was. It still is but it is just overrun by tourist which is inevitable. The hotel itself is simple and has very reasonable prices, the rooms are clean and comfy but don't expect anything special. The specialness is the view, the location and the awesome breakfast....

We had the room with balcony overlooking the lake and I can honestly say this place is truly wonderful, the breakfast was abundant and the attention to detail from the lady who runs the hotel makes this place very special indeed. It is calm and tranquil and perfect and we would have loved to have stayed longer than 3 nights,...

This is a small, but great hotel. Breakfast is truly a 5 star experience. The staff very friendly and helpful. It's close to everything. Fantastic water front location, and incredible views of the castle. It made our stay in Sirmione memorable.

We were greeted by Enza who warmly welcomed us to this fantastic little hotel located in one of the best parts of Sirmione. Parking was easy and cheap, the room had a fantastic view and the breakfast was a good reason to wake up early. The hotel was clean and charming. Don't expect to have high tech amenities as this...

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Sirmione is a popular holiday spot, but at this hotel you feel you've arrived at your own private island, away from the crowds. Our room was very comfortable, spotless and with a balcony overlooking the lake. Breakfast was a feast - I've never seen so much food on offer from...
