We came here already four or five times, our favorite in Como. It's really Italian and always a pleasure to stay there. Nice and clean. The restaurant is a very good choice, too. The rooms to the piazza can be quite noisy till late night.

I normally book a double room for one. It is large and has room to move around. The bathroom is huge and modern. WiFi is free and reasonable fast. The breakfast is served in a glass walled outside "Room" that is heated and air conditioned on the piazza. If the weather is nice the staff opens the glass walls. The...

I stayed here my second night at Italy last week. The hotel is nice, and the desk person was friendly and helpful. My room was nicely furnished with a good view of the piazza below. But since my room was above the restaurant, it was entirely too noisy. Another problem was that I didn't feel safe in my room. Because...

We had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at the Albergo Del Duca. With our friends, we chose to dine there each evening as the menu was so vast, staff very pleasant and helpful and looking out to the piazza was exciting with so much happening at other nearby venues. A continental breakfast was included and this was served in...

Location of this hotel is hard to beat, 100m from Volta square, 5min walk from the lake and the ferries’ wharves, within the old town which is an attraction in itself. Railway station is a 15~20min walk. Room was sizeable, clean and quiet, bed comfortable and quality of the sleep very good. The room window faced an inner courtyard of...

Just the kind of hotel one wants for a weekend break. Brilliantly located in the middle of the pedestrianised town centre, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Como itself is definately worth a visit - compact, stylish town centre, nice shops and restaurants, great gelato and not at all touristy. We'll be back.

Small family run hotel, who were really "hands on". Nothing too much trouble. Lots of advice given to ensure our stay was enjoyed. Superb location. 5 min stroll from boat piers. Good restaurant in hotel. Would certainly stay there again.

Located in Piazza Mazzini, it offered a great point to see all of Como without the high price of the waterfront hotels. You can walk to the Lake within 3 minutes. The hotel is very clean- sheets were changed daily. The breakfast was good to very good (cereal, yogurt, fruit, ham, cheese, rolls and pastry. It's a short walk to San...

Our stay at this hotel was warm, fun, and an experience that made us want to stay. If you prefer the Palazzo Montemartini is Rome than stop reading an book it. If you want to feel like you are among the Italian people regardless of the number of other tourists, head to Como and stay with Andrea and Sara. The...

This seemed like a nice restaurant with a sort of conservatory area and decent menu. Bit the service was very pet, I don't know maybe or waited was having a bad night buy be didn't smile, he wasn't welcoming and my wife's main course was served some 10 minutes before mine arrived - which was only warm. Trying to pay...
