The staff at this hotel are most helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We stayed 7 nights - so we became friendly with most of the reception desk staff. Our room had two small balconies, so we were able to dry our laundry. The hotel is situated about 200m from the rail station - but this distance includes about 100m of stairs....

Room centrally located. Breakfast was adequate. Internet access was a bit patchy in the upper floors but acceptable. Comfortable room. Had loads of space. Furnishings a bit dated. Can get a bit noisy at night but was here in winter so this settled fairly early. Also we were there on the weekend and the front doors were locked without anyone...

Had rooms 101 and 100, which had a disabled bathroom which was bigger than the room. They both faced the street. Much noise well into the night. If I went back I'd ask for rooms at the back. Nice breakfast and the staff were really helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions. Como in itself is a beautiful city 35 mins...

I was very concerned about our choice of hotels for a week long stay in Como Italy after reading the many bad reviews of Hotel Plinius. I have just returned from that vacation and I m happy to report we found the hotel to be delightful. The rooms are what I call "European size" small but not stifling. The beds...

Stayed here one night and slept well. The rooms a very small, but clean and functional. The breakfast had good food, but nothing warm. The front desk was very helpful and gave us the information needed.

Great value for the money considering that hotels in Como are expensive while Plinius is one of the cheapest. It is very clean, very cozy, staff is polite and helpful. The location is very convenient since it is in the middle of Como.

We stayed in Hotel Plinius for 1 night and were satisfied with our stay. Most hotels in the area are generally expensive and Plinius was the cheapest we could find at the time. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious. The bathrooms were also faultless. The hotel is well situated, about 5 minutes walk from the Duomo...

We stayed here in March for a school study group. Hotel Plinius is in an excellent location and has very friendly staff! It is in the heart of Como which was great because we went sightseeing everyday and this really helped. The rooms were nicely cleaned and very spacious. We had an awesome time here and the hotel is very...

We stayed in Hotel Plinius for a week in the end of May. We had made the booking several months beforehand. When we arrived in the middle of the night we were first taken into a tiny room without a balcony, which our booking documents clearly stated we had paid for. That was instantly corrected and we were taken into...

It is a medium sized hotel in the very centre of Como and a walk from the shopping area and cafes of Piaza Garibaldi. The double room is comfortable for two and wifi works with a password that you have to introduce each time you get into the hotel. Scarce breakfast buffet, terrible coffe(ask for one out of the buffet to...
