Mid july and I ve realized the summer will soon be over. So i ve rushed and i ve booked Italy with my first salary ever, namely Villa Flori and grand hotel Campione, each for two nights. A short vacation, but we did not want to risk much with the current "situațion". Villa Flori is about 3 hours by car from our home, în Crans Montana. Thing is Booking made us a good offer, so Villa Flori for two nights costed around 380 euro. Fair! I will let my Photos tell our story, we had two wonderful nights, first night it was a full moon, and from our balcony it looked stunning, and the second night the sky covered and we had a huge storm... Maybe because we were leaving?! Maybe. Reception and breakfast room:very profesional, i totally liked their personal, especially the waitresses at breakfast room, their patience and their presence. Yes,the two mornings in their breakfast room were a dream. They somehow reminded me of Moments în Baia Verde, my favorite hotel în Sicilia. The hotel itself in wonderful, and the room(206) was small but nicely decorated, with a balcony and a very very comfortable bed. I ve loved the mobilier and i ve enjoyed every minute în our room. Thing is we did not spend too much Time in the Villa, we ve visited Como, Bellagio (two Times), Mennagio but the nights were quiet and there was always a pleasure to return to our room. I can only say our journey was perfect, ok almost perfect. There was an issue that i did not like:the parking. Thing is they extra charge 25 euro per night for the parking lot. A no go from my stand point, not to mențion that the parking lots inside their garage are tiny, and if you have a big car, or if you cannon t find a parking spot outside the garage, you might have a problem. Might. Still, our stay was amazing and the hotel exceeded our expectations, Como is just 15 minutes walk from the hotel and Bellagio... Well i ll describe it in my next comment. I ll end my comment here, not before posting a song, Master KG - Jerusalema [Feat. Nomcebo], it is one of my favorites at the time.

I took my wife to Lake Como for her birthday and booked the romantic package, which included dinner for two, parking, and a welcome gift.
Arriving at the hotel, we were asked to provide our details and then wait in the bar until our room was ready. The bar manager was curt to my wife, which I didn't appreciate, and the receptionist had a complete brain freeze when we returned to ask about our room. We received no tour of the building or information on the package we had ordered.
In the evening, I asked a gentleman on reception to confirm our dinner the next day, in addition to the flowers I had ordered for my wife. He was zero help and had the audacity to tell me to speak to the restaurant directly.
The flowers miraculously did arrive, alongside breakfast and a nice bottle of champagne. We thought this was the hotel being nice, but instead, a friend had ordered this and the hotel forgot to tell us!
The view is idyllic, dinner was excellent, and the location is close to Lake Como to walk. However, most interactions with staff were infuriating, and the noise from the main road in the evenings was horrendous. For the price point and a four-star hotel, it left a lot to be desired.

Just in 25 min walk from Como city center, very nice walking on the lakeshore. Otherwise, 5 min by boat leaving every 30 min from the nearest port (3 min walk from the hotel), EUR 2,60 per pax one way. Literally on the lake. We spent our evenings on the balcony over the lake enjoying sunsets. Panoramic view on the lake and Brunate mountain (we did a hike up to the Volta Lighthouse above Brunate, 909 m above sea level; 711 m above lake Como level; takes ca. 1 hour hiking up from Como. Attention! The start of the hiking trail is not easy to find, no indications). The rooms are not so spacious but recently renovated and clean, fulfiled by sunshine. Very nice, cozy and romantic terrasse on the lake - ideal place for a breakfast. Unfortunately, the service was very confusing: not fast, too many words, too many unuseful movements from the kitchen and back with just one plate in hands etc.) Dinner service was good, fast, professional however the kitchen is not the best, small portions at elevated prices; easy to find restaurants with better kitchens in Como, Cernobbio and surroundings.

Great location next to the lake but there are so many hidden costs. The breakfast was included during booking but in the hotel only 50% of the breakfast was for free. Pancakes were 7 EUR extra for example. Then we booked a parking for 25 euro a day and we expected an nice place to put our car safely. BUT the parking was crowded and every day it was stressful to find a free spot. This is not worth a 4 star plus hotel. During check-out they gave us the parking for free after we were complaining.
The rooms were nice and clean and a few staff members were really friendly.
We wouldn't book this hotel again but we would select another hotel in this price range.

A friend and I just concluded a 3 day stay at Hotel Villa Flori, (visiting from New York City, USA) and It was a most enjoyable stay. Don’t even hesitate and book here now. Although the hotel is not in the city center, it is an enjoyable walking distance to all restaurants and cafes. From the moment you walk in, the hotel is intoxicating, even having a signature scent. The decor is beautiful and the layout quaint. Everyone at Villa Flori was genuinely kind, friendly, and courteous during our stay.
The “breakfast crew” was enthusiastic and worked incredibly hard to accommodate the crowds. The cappuccinos were DELICIOUS. Andrew, the bartender, was professional, welcoming, and kind as well. He went above and beyond to meet special requests where he could, so much so, that a night at Hotel Villa Flori was not complete unless we ended it with a nightcap in the bar lounge. The cleaning crew left the rooms immaculate and there is not a bad view from the property. The rooms are nicely sized and the bathroom was luxurious.
The gentleman who checked us in (sadly, I cannot remember his name and we only saw him that day) gave us personalized care and attention, showing us to our room and around the property, as well as offering suggestions of things to do on a rainy day in Como. He helped us also with a dinner reservation at Feel Como (highly recommend!). All the front desk staff was very accommodating and professional. All staff follows COVID protocols and helped us arrange a test to return to the US. There is an “old-world” charm that is rare these days and was not lost on us at this hotel. We cannot wait to return and suggest you book today to enjoy its splendor.

A beautiful hotel on the side of Lake Como. Stunning views over the lake . The staff are ultra friendly , charming and helpful. The rooms are quite small but fine with a lovely balcony. The hotel is a good walk out of Como itself so if you don't want to use the restaurant in the hotel it's worth bearing in mind. The breakfasts are great especially sitting outside with the views

As the number 5 rated hotel in the area and given the expense of our stay I must say that is was disappointed.
Let me start by saying the the property itself is gorgeous. Each room with an amazing view of the lake. Our dinner outside had amazing views as well.
The food portions were small but adequate. Gym was closed due to COVID.
The room was tiny and although advertised to keep three people, it barely does and. It comfortably.
The worst of the trip was the broken air conditioner and the 27.5 degree Celsius reading in our room. Despot 4 calls to the front desk they were unable to fix, unable to live is and offered nothing to offset the very expensive stay. We ended up checking out early.
Customer service was lacking and unfortunately we will not be back.

My husband and I recently stayed 3 nights at Hotel Villa Flori. The hotel's location right on the lake provides great views. We had a large room, with a large balcony on the lake. The location is very good...not right in Como, which we appreciated. We were a 5 minute walk to a ferry dock that enables to you get to Como, Bellagio and so many other towns. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel each morning. The setting and views were perfect, and the breakfast was very good. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant one evening, and once at the bar. Both were lovely.
Our only complaint about the property is the carpet in our room was VERY old and had lots of stains. The bathroom was very nice - seemed recently remodeled.

A really beautiful hotel directly on the lake side. The room was really lovely with a terrace overlooking the lake. Very clean everywhere and lovely toiletries in the bathroom to enjoy! The bar is serviced excellently and again perfectly set up to enjoy drinks on a large terrace. Breakfast included is brilliant and there is a lot included from cooked breakfast to pastries/cakes/fruits and yoghurt. A must stay if you go to Lake Como.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a memorable six night stay at Villa Flori. There’s so much to like about this hotel but the key for me is it’s lakeside position, with the road behind it, which gives uninterupted views across the lake and over to Como town.
Breakfast in the garden at the water’s edge, watching the lake come to life with boats and wildlife and stunning mountainous scenery as a backdrop was a magical experience. The breakfast selection was excellent and the staff took care of every little detail to make sure our days started perfectly.
Our top floor room was well laid out and comfortable with a bath and, most importantly, a balcony that gave us incredible, wide-angle, views over the lake. We enjoyed evenings just watching life go by on the water, rowers, seaplanes, birds and ferries all doing their thing as the sun set behind us.
The location is superb as a base for exploring the area. Como town is 15 min walk mostly through garden parks and waterfront paths. There’s a ferry stop at Tavernola, a few mins walk north, which gives access to all the main towns and many smaller villages. You can also book a boat taxi to collect you at the hotel wharf, or travel by car, bicycle or bus.
An all-round excellent hotel in unrivalled location with dedicated and professional staff. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Como (I hope we do).

The hotel has a restaurant called Raimondi Restaurant and a bar. Also, just a 5-minute walk away, there are many restaurants in Cernobbio that you can choose from.

Yes, there are nearby beaches like ''Lido Villa Olmo'' and ''Lido di Cernobbio''. You can take the bikes to Como and use the provided locks to park them while you explore the city. However, there is no pool at our hotel.

We do not have a shuttle. There is a taxi service. We provide bicycles. Villa Flori is not far from the centre, and many of our clients prefer walking to the centre along the lake.

My wife and I have stayed here three times over the past few years including two visits of almost a week long on each visit. Among many reasons to stay here is the opportunity for our family of three generations to gather, commune, dine and celebrate life, each other and the hospitality of an excellent hotel. Sit with your family and enjoy the Italian “joy of life”, the food, and the chance to be with your family! Don’t “do”; just “be”.
