Certificate of Excellence
What is Certificate of Excellence?
TripAdvisor gives a Certificate of Excellence to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travellers.
My wife and I (and our 2 month old infant son) had a wonderful stay at Hotel Belvedere Bellagio on our 10 year anniversary. The staff were exceptional (every single one of them). The food was also amazing (we literally had more than half of...More
Now, when reading this review, keep in mind that the official rating of this hotel is 3 stars. I have stayed at much higher ranked hotels that fail to impress the same way.
We spent 4 nights at the Belvedere with our 15 and 11...More
Hotel belvedere bellagio - hotel unnecessarily pricey, yet choose this hotel due to good reviews and location. the hotel is wonderful with a mixture of old and new. The rooms are well appointed and had stunning views over hotel ground and the lake. Dinner was...More
My wife, young son (15 months) and I just spent 4 amazing days and nights at the Hotel Belvedere Bellagio. I rarely, if ever, take the time to post a review on TripAdvisor (mainly out of laziness) but our stay was so great that I...More
Arriving at the beautiful location was good enough but then we were greeted by friendly staff who gave us welcome drinks. The rooms were big with fantastic views over looking the lake. The pool was lovely the perfect temp with comfy loungers and the view....More

This is a very personal opinion, but I would not recommend Bellagio for a party of fun loving girls! It is a wonderful place, but more about spectacular views, lovely gardens, nice food and plenty of history. If you want lots of fun things, you might do better on the other side of the lake, which is busier, with more markets, etc. Having said that, we loved the Belvedere, which is within easy walking distance of the town and transport, and is a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff, great service and a really nice pool. Hope this helps. Have a good time!
This hotel is just outside of the city, about 5-7 minutes walking or about one third of a mile from the beginning of town.
I did see many bicycles in one of the hotel storage rooms, I did not ask about it, but I figure that... More

I did see many bicycles in one of the hotel storage rooms, I did not ask about it, but I figure that they do rent them.
It's a very good hotel, from my understanding, one of the best in the area. There is another one or two hotels that are better and more luxurious. Overall this hotel was great! The rooms on the lower side of the hill have amazing views of the lake!
Dinner at the hotel restaurant is not great but not bad... I would say mediocre. Breakfast is very good on the other hand!
I would absolutely stay there again. I hope I have helped.
