Hotel Bellevue has a central position which makes it the ideal base to visit Genoa and Liguria. All our guests appreciate the very easy way to reach us: we are only 50 meters far from the railway station "Genova Principe", where the main city buses, the subway and taxis stop, as well as the "Volabus", the bus that connects the city centre with the international airport "Cristoforo Colombo". The MSC cruise terminal (Ponte dei Mille) is only 400 meters far and the ferry terminal is about 1 km. We offer 24h reception service, free internet point, free wifi connection in all the rooms, elevator, free newspapers and two large terraces with panoramic view on the harbour and the Lighthouse, symbol of the city. Our rates include a rich buffet breakfast, now suitable for vegans too! Covered parking places are available on request (15 euros per night). Pets are welcome without any extra charge. All our rooms have private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, direct dial telephone, fridge, TV with Satellite and Mediaset Premium channels, heating/air conditioning with remote control, free internet Wi-Fi access. On request, rooms with beautiful sea view.

This hotel is past its prime. It was probably super swanky when it was built, and has stunning views over Genoas port and railway station - but it has not kept up to modern standards. The rooms feel outdated and old. However: the price is low, and for travellers arriving by train the hotel could not be better placed. The rooms have high ceilings and excellent aircondition, as well as good water pressure in the bathrooms. We stayed two nights in the middle of the heat wave and could not have asked for better sleep. Our only complaint would be that the night receptionist did not seem to like his guests very much. We would absolutely recommend the hotel for travellers on a budget, travellers who would like to live close to Genoas narrow & non-gentrified alleyways, and trainspotters who will enjoy the views to all arriving trains!…

We stayed for 10 nights in this hotel. The hotel is situated in a wonderful position. The manager is very good: at a very honest price he offer a large and clean room, dotated with a fridge ( but not a kettle), a large bathroom with all working perfect, a daily cleaning and changing of the towels and a correct breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful and make you feel very well. The zone is not noisy during the nights, so one can sleep very well. The panorama from the window is fantastic. So, we' ll return with great plasure to this hotel in our next trip to Genova.

Situated right by Principle Station the hotel was very convenient for the cruise port and marina. We booked a triple room and were very pleased to see a good size room with one double and 2 single beds. Overlooking the statue of Christopher Columbus the views from the room were great. The bathroom was a good size but the shower unit was quite small. A sun terrace with good views was very pleasant. Breakfast was included but very limited in choice. Coffee, toast, juices, croissants etc. There was ham on 2 of the mornings but not the 3rd. Staff on reception were helpful and the hotel was pretty clean. Another gripe was we got a taxi from the airport and paid 20 Euros including a tip. The bus would have cost us 18 (6 each?) so taxi was better. The gent at reception booked a taxi for us back to the airport and on arrival charged us 35 Euros. Not impressed with that whatsoever. …

Cozy small hotel with amazing panoramic view from the window. Very quiet, no noizes during the night. The best hotel to rest before the flight. The room is very bright. The hotel is Near the centre. Only 15 minutes walk to reach the shops and tourist areas and 25 minutes to reach the big famous fountain.

The location in walking distance of Piazza del Principe railway station and the center of Genova. Near via Balbi and Palazzo Reale. Basic facilities in the room including mini-bar. Very basic breakfast. The stuff was very helpful. The place is very rumorous of trains. My first room was very very noisy. I changed it but the other was noisy too

Simple, good value hotel in a great position for Principe Station and the port. Breakfast included and more than adequate. Friendly and very helpful staff. Room serviced daily. Handy to walk from to rest of city. A bit of a climb for those with walking difficulties. Small sun terrace but this would benefit from a tidying. Have stayed in better hotels in Genoa but would have a problem returning to the Bellevue.

The hotel is just a five minute walk up the hill from the train station. It is located on a street with many dining options and just a short walk anywhere in the city. It takes ab it twenty minutes to walk to the port from here. I liked everything about this hotel. Clean room with a nice terrace down the hall with a fantastic view of the sunset over the city. The hotel overlooks the train station but I didn't notice any noise. The breakfast is ample with lots of choices including eggs, cereal, breads, meats, juices and coffee. It kept me going until dinner.

Great location, lovely breakfast and staff. The terrace views were amazing and the room was spacious and clean. The shower was a bit weak. We had a pleasant stay. Heating worked perfectly. The fridge was handy!
