The staff was nice, and rooms were clean. They change the towels only every third day.The main advantage of the hotel was its location, just view steps from Porto Antico. For those travelling by rental, the hotel has a special deal with nearby located parking in Porto Antico (17 EUR per 24 hours).

My friend and I arrived here and were quite shocked about the area we were in. Though very central and close to bakeries and supermarkets, the area was very seedy, with lots of men calling out to us in Italian as we walked with our suitcases to the hotel. There were also about four ladies selling their services out the... More

A nice, cosy hotel with super-kind staff eager to help you and advice. Good breakfast. Perfect location - 30' walk from the railway station, 5' from the Aquarium. Specific atmosphere of narrow streets of Genoa may seem creepy, but I love it :-) . Do not expect luxurious conditions, the hotel is just fine.

The elderly gentleman who checked us in and also served us breakfast the next morning was polite. The breakfast was a croissant, a piece of salty focaccia, a mini yogurt and tea or coffee and juice (not freshly squeezed) - but the breakfast is just €2.50 so can't really complain. The heater in the room could not be turned on.... More

The location is in the historical center of Genova. Reception is open 24 hours. Staff is friendly and full of suggestions how to experience the city. It is the in the middle of the "caruggi" where the prostitutes work 24 hours a day and the area is full of immigrants. It could be noisy at night. If you can accept... More

The location is very central, but you must accept that this area is where the prostitutes work day and night. It can get noisy at night as they argue, but I always felt safe. I found the room very basic but clean and spacious. The Wi-Fi was great and free! The owner and the other staff were exquisite and always... More
