If driving by car your GSM (or at least mine) took me to a street from where there is a long walk on stairs. And finding the right entrance was rather complicated. Anyway - the room was fine - with a splendid view, nice bathroom and really good value. There is only one restaurant and one super market in the...

Youth hostels traditionally have had a habit of being in remote locations and this one certainly sticks to the tradition. Although the outskirts of Genoa technically may not be qualify as "remote", the severely steep terrain, the fact that the hostel neighbourhood is a veritable 3D labyrinth, and that the signposting is, from a pedestrian's viewpoint, rather inadequate, all conspire...

I used to stay in the hostels that belongs to the Hostelling International group and unfortunately this one was the worst of all. It wasn't particulary bad, but below my expectations. Let's start with what was good: -no problems with check in or check out -we reserved two - person room and because of that we got a whole 5...

If you are staying in a hostel, take it for granted that you are not going to get luxury accommodation. The rooms are pretty basic but it's part of the hostelling experience. Wifi is only available on the ground floor but in a way this is good because it forces you to get down and socialise with the other guests....

I spent 1 nights there. The only prblem is distance to the center of Genova about hotel is about 25 minutes by bus. They don't have internet in the rooms, but the comon area is quite cosy. It was nice, clean and beautifull views for port and city.

I found that this hostel was one of the only cheap accommodation options in Genova, and it was recommended by Lonely Planet. From the train station, it is quite a hike, even to the bus stop (I walked up to the #40 bus stop because I didn’t want to waste time with transfers - you can take the #35 bus...

It was nice, clean and the location is really good. The only prblem is that they don't have internet in the rooms, but the comon area is quite cosy. I spent 2 nights there. They also offer a cheap breakfast that is really nice.

Clean, cheap, wi-fi connection only in the first floor. Far away from the city center, only reachable by bus (like 20min I think). Enough for one night with friends. The hostel has a great view for the port.

Great place to stay if on a budget. The dorms are cheap, the bathrooms ok, you pay for what you get. Although it is located a little outside of thecity centre, the terrace offers a beautiful view of the city, gorgeous when lit up at night. It is also easy to get to by bus, under half an hour to...

The hostel is good but far from the center. You always have to take bus 40 or bus 640 after 9 pm. The rooms are normally for 8 persons but there are also rooms for 4 persons. Breakfast is 2 euro. There are big free lockers outside every room.
