The hotel was fine if somewhat remote, a car would be recommended. Our stay was made by the fantastic staff, who could not do enough for us, and all was done with a smile. Our room was comfortable, with furniture in keeping with the hotel. The public areas were immaculate, with a lovely terrace over looking the swimming pool. In...

Me and my boyfriend were not sure what to expect from this hotel. Just like other people in the reviews we were a bit surprised by the long narrow road that leads to the hotel and the distance from Genua. However, once we entered the hotel everything was absolutely perfect. The room was beautiful and clean, even with a jacuzzi...

Even if the hotel is a bit out of Genoa and the road up to the hotel, it is well worth it. You get a very luxerious feel when you enter into the courtyard with trees. Here you can find peace after a busy day in town in a wonderful garden, which has a pond with swans. The view of...

I went here recently for a wedding. The castle itself is beautiful and unbelievable views of Genova. Food was beautifully presented. The aperativio was mouthwatering. The staff were polite and helpful. I did nt stay the night but rooms were nice and comfortable. I was offered one for the whole day so I could breastfeed my 2month old son.

This place used to be fantastic. the view is super. The mansion itself glamorous. But now service got really down. The room I was in had a very old and noisy A/C. It was july and was so humid and muggy it was impossible to sleep. when I went to reception I found out that other guests were already complaining...

Took my 13 year old nephew here and he was entranced! A very exciting place to stay if you love castles and an oldy-worldy experience. Great end to a day of visiting pirate ships and penguins at the Marineland in Genoa. The castle is set on top of a hilltop, you drive up to it through narrow meandering lanes overgrown...

the hotel was nice and the outside gardens pretty but the location of the hotel was terrible. it was on the top of a hill and the nearest bus station was 15 or 20 min down the hill, and the taxi service was so expensive that you cant even imagine. So if you dont have your own car DONT GO...

After reading other reviews about this hotel I was concerned about what the hotel was like - I should have listened - definitely Faulty Towers!!!!! Firstly, this hotel is a LONG way from anything. It cost us 30 euros each way by taxi to get to the centre of Genoa. This hotel really caterers for weddings - as soon as...

the hotel itself and the grounds were very pretty, although the view was rather industrial; the double bed, though not uncomfortable, was extremely narrow, but the price of 70 euros was not excessive; the dinner came to 35 euros per head ,which was extortionate, and probably the worst experience of the whole holiday....first of all the waiter brought the wrong...
