My husband and I stayed in this quaint town this Sept. 16th and 17th. We were met by our lovely host Francesca and her darling daughter and pooch. Our room was clean and large with a door to the shared terrace where we ate our breakfast. There was yogurts, water, tea, coffee, crackers and sweets in our small fridge. Since... More

I chose L’Arcobaleno because it had a good parking facility. However, located at the top of the hill in Riomaggiore, it turned out to be a rather special place. It had a little balcony on which we took breakfast each day, a hot drink making machine and a refrigerator in which was placed food for breakfast each day. There was... More

We stayed at this accommodation for two nights. It is more like a guest house than a hotel but very comfortable and clean. The staff were very willing to help in any way they could and the facilities in the room were good, in fact the coffee machine was excellent!! We were lucky, we had a very large balcony with... Very friendly staff and attentive to your needs. We had a car and they're the first hotel at the top of the hill and provide covered parking. The room has an espresso machine and refrigerator that is restocked every morning with milk, juiced and yogurts and then many pastries to have for breakfast. The air-conditioning also worked very well. The... More

Good sized room with minifridge to place our own water as well as containing the plentiful breakfast provided for us. Air conditioning worked well. We appreciated being somewhere that took their attention to water usage seriously and actually didn't replace the towels every day if they were hung up. It was nice to be at the top of the hill... We had a car and we were worried that driving to the Cinque Terre was going to be a problem. But L'Arcobaleno has private garages, so it was perfect. The car was safely tucked up in the garage for the duration. The rooms were a good size and well stocked. All the breakfast items are in the room, coffee machine,... More

This was such a great place to stay. Its at the top of the main street of Riomaggiore - you just walk straight up the main street from the station, so no stairs, and its easy to find. Its a steep walk with a bag, but its worth it. The bed and breakfast is great and Francesca is a wonderful... More

L'Arcobaleno is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day amongst the crowds. Situated at the top end of a steep road, it's close enough to the sea and restaurants and yet peaceful and quiet. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the self-help breakfast ideal for us and the coffee machine an absolute treat.Francesca was a wonderful hostess and... More

Francesca and her father were wonderful. We loved our stay, and the warm welcome that we received upon our arrival. My sister is an owner of an condo leasing agency in Riomaggiore (Mar Mar) and she recommended L'Arcobaleno to us when we visited from Germany after the birth of her child. I cannot say enough good things about this quiet... More

We stayed here in April 2011 and were lucky to get a room as we had booked it very last minute. We drove from Nice and got lost so we arrived really late, however Francesca was lovely and stayed and waited for us. She took the time to explain how everything worked and made us feel settled in though it... More
