The owner is really nice, the place is very clean and the location is beautiful (if the 'Fast' bar across the street isn't busy). My only complaint was that the breakfast was simply bread, juice and coffee. My friends stayed at several other locations in the town and woke each morning to a more complete warm breakfast. If you don't... More

First B&B we have every stayed in. Was fabulous-location was great, accommodation very clean and modern and the hosts were wonderful. We would go back there again and would recommend it to our friends.

This was a nice place in the heart of Monterosso's Old Town. Very nice staff and well-appointed room that has everything you need. There were a lot of college kids staying here for some reason - along with late-night partying - that wasn't what I expected. Also, the Fast Bar across the street IS really loud, although you can block... More

This is the second time my wife and I have been visiting Monterosso, and the first time we stayed at L'Antica Terrazza. I have nothing bad to say about the B&B i stayed at last time, but L'antica Terrazza is unmatched when it comes to certain factors. LOCATION: Yes, it is located in the middle of the village. Really in... More

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay in Monterosso with Jon & Raffaella. First of all, the Cinque Terre and Monterosso are a magical place, not to be missed on any trip through Italy. The town of Monterosso was full of culture, smiling faces, great food, and the BEACH. Couldn't be better. The hospitally we received... More

While my friends decided to stop in Milan for 2 nights after our trip in Venice, I decided to endure the 5 plus hours trip from Venice to Monterosso as I plan to hike from one town to the other. Monterosso is a beautiful town and L' antica Terazza did not disappoint. The owners were not there yet their other... More

I have stayed at this beatiful old b&b two twice and both times has been a true pleasure. The place is greatly located in the middle of the small town with the beach, bars and restaurants virtually in crawling-distance from the "Terazza". And if you don`t want to do anything other than just to share a bottle of wine with... More

My partner and I recently travelled through Monterosso and were very happy to have chosen L'antica Terraza. Its perfectly located, so even if you lugging around heavy suitcases, as we were, it was not too bad. Its still a good 8-10 minute walk from station but very doable. Its also very close to amazing restaurants and shops and a 3... More

We were referred to L'Antica Terrazza by the Turisto Pro Loco office at the train station in Monterosso, and what a great find it was! Owners John and Rafaella were welcoming and friendly. We had our choice of several rooms and chose "Aria", on the second floor with a small balcony above the street. The hotel is bright and sunny,... More

My husband and I stayed at L'Antica Terrazza for 3 nights in October. We had perfect weather and spent two very long days hiking. This place was fantastic to come back to at night. We would relax on the roof-top patio with other guests at night with a bottle of the local coop wine that was restocked each night :)... More
