My wife & I and another couple stayed for three days and we were treated royally. The location was perfect with a great view(a bit of a climb to the hotel and to our room). The staff and manager went out of the way to make our stay enjoyable. Free afternoon wine tastings, a hot tub and snaacks added to...

Nothing new to add to the long list of superlatives to describe the beauty of the 5-Terre, the beauty and calm of Manarola (so glad we chose this town), the position of La Torretta (perfect) and our accommodation - my husband, son and I stayed in the junior design suite, which was luxurious, cozy and spotless. We were welcomed with...

I stayed at La Toretta, for one night in September 2009. We stayed in a suite on the second floor, with the most spectacular view of town of Manarola and the ocean, from our small terrace. Our suite had two rooms, once with a queen sized bed (and air conditioning), and one with a twin sized bed. The bathroom had...

My friend and I booked this hotel because of tripadvisor and the reviews are spot on. We loved this place. We stayed in room #6 for one night which was a two-bed room with partial sea/town views. The room was perfect with nice surprises such as a filled scotch decanter, fully stocked fridge and breakfast included. Only issue we had...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in August as part of our honeymoon around Italy. Was by far the highlight. It is very well run with excellent friendly and helpful staff, a high standard of accommodation. We stayed in junior garden suite - fantastic outdoor space and views. I would highly recommend La Torretta. The location in...

We stayed at La Torretta for 3 nights during our honeymoon. It was fantastic! We stayed in a small room just off of the lobby area. The large terrace we had was amazing - with a great view of the village and the sea. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning and we enjoyed it on the terrace. We...

We spent 6 nights at La Torretta in a "panoramic" suite and it was perfect. During our visit we hiked each day - covering the upper trail from Porto Venere to Monterosso - returning home to an amazing jaquzzi tub and a balcony overlooking the sea. While each village is breathtaking, we felt fortunate that we had chosen Manarola for...

I stayed here with my wife for two nights during a longer trip touring Tuscany and Cinque Terra. We had the "Junior Suite" and cannot recommend this highly enough. Each of the two rooms in the suite is on the small side but are fine and clean -- and then there is the great balcony with its fantastic view over...

The hotel was perfect! The service was excellent, it was my boyfriends 30th birthday whilst we were there and they even went to the effort of getting him a birthday cake and a glass of prosecco!! Manarola wasn't our favorite of cinque terre but it was worth staying there for the hotel, the extra touches made it special..

After reading the excellent reviews we decided to take the last room available, which was the most expensive. I cannot understand how so many people have rated this hotel so highly. The view of the sea is OK but hardly stunning, the sun terrace is very basic and the neighbours all have windows and balconies overlooking the facility and the...
