We spent 9 days in this wonderful city and we were more than pleased with our choice of hotel. The apartment was really large with a separate kitchen, hall and bathroom. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the hotel was so very quiet. We sometimes thought that we were the only ones staying. To top it all, our...

We loved staying in our suite here, for the best part of a week. Wonderful view over the rooftops to the sea and sunset. Very quiet, but really central and we were delighted with the size of the rooms, with a very good sized kitchen(ette) to self cater. Very helpful Reception. Cant praise it too highly, really.

Cons: The building and suite was very run down. Old coverings for chairs and bed... just not inviting or clean. There were zero frescos on the walls of our suite. It was way too expensive to stay here. Pros: The staff. Location to main area. Size of a suite matters and this was a large suite.

We were really pleased with our 1 night here. We would definitely return. Roberto on the reception was fantastic - multilingual, incredibly friendly and full of great ideas about things to do in Trieste, and recommendations for local restaurants and bars. Ideally located in the old town, 3 streets back from the seafront to the right of the main piazza....

Well located with good size rooms. Cleaning is every second day - at least when we were there. There is a laundry but it is not entirely clear how to access. A great little coffee pot is provided in the kitchenette with coffee. Hair dryer was very dodgy. Staff were friendly enough, but better to message if your language skills...

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. The apartment was very spacious and the kitchenette had everything we needed. The laundry was the cheapest in Europe and the whole place was very clean. Close to shops, restaurants and a short walk to Piazza Unita. Donnatella at the front desk was so beautiful to us...

We stopped by in Trieste unplanned and found this hotel / residence via booking.com for the night. We had one child with us. Luckily we found a parking right in front of the hotel (free) when we arrived. The room is basic but very clean and functional with a kitchenette and a small separate bed for the child. Front desk...

We walked from the central station to the hotel, so that I could show my Australian family, the broad avenues and fine 19thC buildings of my native city. The hotel itself is a few minutes walk from Piazza Unità d'Italia, the largest seafront piazza in Europe (yes, larger than S. Marco in Venice) and the civic centre of Trieste. The...

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at Residence Liberty and will definitely stay here again. We book two rooms; one for my wife and I, and one for my daughters next to us, although the rooms could easily take all four of us as they are quite large. The kitchenette is a perfect side for...
