Hotel La Grotta is a great choice in case you would like to stay for a night in San Marino (the town/republic is so small that obviously, one can spend here just several hours during the day) because it’s a perfect mix of a nice hotel with a reasonable price and its central location. Right now the hotel is still...

Location is good, right at the old city center, yet, still very quiet as it's a bit hiding behind the busy street, very good breakfast, room and washroom are clean, bright and large, would recommend to friends & family.

The hotel is located on the city center and within walking distance of all the attractions, check in was very easy and the lady very welcoming, in fact all the staff were great including the gentleman at the breakfast. The place is very clean, very organized and the room is exactly what we saw on the pictures and very comfortable....

I was very happy with my stay in La Grotta. It is a bit of a hike getting from the bus stop, up the hill with your luggage, that would be my only complaint. One you get to the hotel you have a central location with easy access to all the sights on Mr. Titiano. The rooms like the entire...

Location great, beds great staff great but with paper thin walls the room was too noisy. Early in the evening, before dinner, we had to contend with the next rooms constant TV noise, but even with ear plugs the snoring from the next room woke my wife. I woke at a different time and had to put in my ear...

I don't actually believe the phrase "the customer is always right" working in the service industry myself in the past. However, neither do I believe a host should argue with the guest and then walk away from them saying "bye" when being asked a question. This is what happened with us. It seemed like such as inconvenience that we were...

Very nice hotel. Clean, modern, right in the center of the old town, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Would of given 5 instead of 4 if they had a courtesy golf car to pick up from the parking lot to the hotel, ( I saw that other hotels in San Marino center had this service). Walking through the...

I only stayed one night but really enjoyed my stay. It's right in the heart of San Marino - a bit of a climb from the bus station but doable. My room was clean and modern. It didn't have a view, but I think I chose a cheaper room - no problem for me. I was out walking around most...

You can't get better for the views. The rooms are very large by European standards. Everything you need is provided. The bathroom is adequate with the big plus of having a stand alone shower. That is no bath to climb in and out at great discomfort. Beds rather firm but better than the other way around. Reception was very efficient...
