Detailed Reviews
Not the best experience of staying in a 4-star hotel. We were here in December 2019. The main unpleasant “surprise” started with a booking. We booked the room on their website using the offer where the price of the room (not the cheapest one obviously) included the free tickets to the Ferrari museum. But upon arrival we were told that there were no free tickets but only a 2-euro (!) discount. All our attempts to show their own website page with words “free” and “gratis” were met with the comments starting with “you misunderstood us” and ending with “its the fault of the guys who made the website”(!!!!) The moment when you realize that someone is trying to make you feel an idiot and can do nothing about it.
They also don’t have kettles in the rooms. But we needed one to boil water to make the formula for our baby. So we called the receptionist of our building who told us to go to the main building and ask for for hot water there (!) (hotel is a group of buildings with the main receptionist’s in the main building). I don’t really think it’s a service that deserves 4 stars. That was the first time when in a hotel of this level I was told to go and find things by myself. Some hostels serve better.
So in general it was a so-so stay, nothing special. The good points are big clean rooms, some nice personnel, good breakfast, quite location.

Dear guest, as I have already explained to you on Facebook, you reserved a quadruple room with breakfast. You clearly visited our website and specifically the offers' page, you visited the "Ferrari Dream offer" page and clicked on the below button. It addresses you to the main booking engine page, blank, that is to say that you need to choose dates of stay, type of room and accommodation. There you can choose any formula you wish. When you say you chose "not the cheapest offer", it does not imply you chose the Ferrari Dream offer. This offer includes the tickets that are discounted by 2 Euros, so you would have had the same price by reserving the room with the offer on our website or by reserving the tickets separately at any time from booking to arrival at reception. You can find description of our rooms anywhere and kettles are not a standard equipment. As the bar is in the main building and there is no room service (nowhere on our website you will find this service mentioned), you need to move from your room to the reception to get it. The Village has always been a village type establishment since its opening. It has not changed its nature in the meanwhile...

If you are visiting the motor museums in the area, this hotel has to be one of the best value and location for your stay. We stayed in a 2-bedroom deluxe family suite which was spacious and remarkably cheap. Full breakfast was included in the price (which is remarkable in itself as Italians don’t seem to eat much at breakfast LOL).

Stayed here for 3 nights in Aug 2020. Everything was well organised and safe during this new COVID 19 world we live in. Staff all spoke good English. We stayed in one of the 3 roomed apartments and was very spacious and well equipped, plenty of room for the 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 older children. Everywhere was very clean in both our room and communial areas. We ate in both the restaurant and the pit stop bar and was impressed with both. Plenty of free onsite parking and within an easy drive to Maranello and also Modena. Would definitely stay again.

This is not a hotel. It's pretty much student accomodation or what we in the UK call "Student Halls" - it's pretty disgusting and a real shame they are riding on the Ferrari name selling this garbage. Ferrari is a premium product but this place is highly run down. It stinks, carpets smell, it's noisy - you can hear every word from outside, above and below. Thank god I was only here for 1 night but that night I did not sleep as there was noise everywhere. The funniest was hearing water dripping through walls - I put this down to the guys having a shower and their washing machine on upstairs and the water run downs a pipe behind the bed! Hilarious! Breakfast was like a student canteen too. This was the worst hotel I have every spent a night in.

Dear Prancinghorsepower, we are sorry to read such harsh words on us. Considering the good and positive reviews of the previous guests and the positive reviews that we receive from other platforms and directly, it is hard to believe that your words are near to reality. We must admit though that we have a problem of soundproof in rooms. This can be read also in other reviews. Unfortunately we, working in the hotels, can do very little on that. We usually do everything during the guest's stay to make him feel at his ease and comfortable. Reading your words we probably did not manage to fulfill your expectations. This tone though does not help us improve our service. Again we are sorry for your bad experience.

If you go in the Summer, stay away! All the rooms are 26 degrees Celsius 79 degrees Fahrenheit at night. If you are used to sleeping with air conditioning, stay far far away. The room temperature was so unbearable, we would have left had there been available rooms in other hotels in town. The maintenance of these rooms is nonexistent in the apartment style rooms, as they are in need of a massive renovation. The staff couldn't care less and do zero to help the situation, knowing that we have a long travel trip the next day, and now not a good nights rest, thanks to the hotel failing to keep up with maintenance. The staff's explanation is that all the rooms are nearly 80 degrees, as if that somehow helps things. Also, thinking of opening the windows--think again, there are massive cob webs in the windows and if the breeze blows, god knows how many spiders will end up blowing onto your bed while you sleep at night. Too add to that, the landscaping is nonexistent, and the hotel simply looks like someone painted the walls red and threw a poor replica of a Ferrari F1 car in the lobby to draw your attention in, but DO NOT FALL FOR IT. This place is not worth 35 euros a night and resembles a hostile that charges 10 euros a night. The only thing decent in the hotel is the adjacent paddock restaurant, but not worth staying at this terrible hotel. Check out the pic of the AC reading at nearly 80 degrees farenheit. If you need to do business, forget it, as the WIFI is about as quick as a phone modem connection from the early 1990s.

Good evening Liam, as much as we are sorry that the temperature in your room was not to your liking, we feel that your words about our hotel do not respect our work. Temperature in our rooms is absolutely comfortable, otherwise we would receive numerous complaints about this, especially in the middle of summer. In your room it was 26 degrees probably because you forgot the windows open during the day, letting the heat in from outside. The air conditioner was working properly. Our staff tried to do their best to assist you, but since no other rooms were available, no other solution could be offered. We are really sorry that you did not rest well, the quality of rest of our guests is a priority for us.

My stay at the Hotel Maranello Village was a belated 50th birthday present and what a present. Okay, the decor probably wouldn't appeal to some guests, but as a fan, who wouldn't like a full size F1 car in reception and vintage race car murals on the bedroom wall. I'd had some issues with my booking from the UK, but Fabio on reception was fantastic in sorting these before we arrived. We had the package which included a Ferrari driving experience and it was worth every penny. Our room was in the 'Monza' block and although close to the main road, was quite. Free minibar with our package was a nice touch, the room was spotless and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good with a nice selection, although it's only served from 7.30 - 9am. Overall a great stay and experience.

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant & the Ferrari theme was tastefully incorporated. The rooms were very clean, modern & comfortable! The welcome gift of the balsamic vinegar was a great touch, too! Breakfast was also enjoyable, with many offerings. While located in it's own private property complex, and quite safe, you may wish to request a room above the ground-level.

Definitely not worth the value of staying at this hotel; marketed as the only Ferrari inspired hotel; it is far from a hotel set up at all,
The only decor of Ferrari was in reception, the actual rooms in adjacent building offer no Motörhead experience nor decor, there is no help with your luggage; there was never an available restaurant open for us to utilise, proves very difficult with kids. When we call reception for any assistance, they never call you back! We had to follow up each time.
Stove and oven didn’t work although we turned up the gas supply,
I was deeply disappointed in this hotel, especially traveling from such a distance to experience poor hospitality.

Spacious appartment for bigger family with washing machine, dishwasher and big fridge. We would prefer to get better equipped appartment since there was only ONE pot ant that's it. There was no useful kitchen knives and the knives in the drawer were broken. That was a bit dissapointing. Another dissapointment was so called "buffet" breakfast. Due to corona excuse the access to buffet was closed and you were serverd your food. If I would know this I wouldn't pay extra for this. Anyway location and spacious appartment was the main deciding factor.

Dear customer, we apologise for the annoyance of the kitchen equipment. We will get the kitchen equipment check strengthened. As for the breakfast buffet, there is no excuse at all. Our government implemented health measures and we needed to get sticked to it, no matter what. It's for the health of all guests and employees.

We stayed for one night. The flat was spacious and it had a washing machine which was a blessing while you are doing a road trip. We didn’t cook but it seemed the kitchen utensils were not great. The breakfast was very good and the ladies who were serving were very friendly.
