We stayed here for 2 nights recently and found it an excellent choice. Our room was much bigger than we expected, well equipped and a very comfortable bed. Location was perfect on via Ugo Bassi with the Piazza Maggiore just a few minutes away. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and, of course, spoke good English and our...

If you are looking for style and luxury this is not for you - this is a 2 * hotel.. If you are looking for a great location - big comfortable bed and generous breakfast this could be for you. The Hotel is a little dated but everything worked, including for us the internet. Reception and other staff were helpful...

We were in Bologna for three days (and two nights) and stayed at Albergo Centrale. It was super affordable and perfect for a short stay in the heart of Bologna. The man at the front desk was extremely friendly and had great restaurant recommendations. The room was quaint and comfortable. We never found the free breakfast however... Overall, the location...

The hotel is located in the city Centre, near to everything. Very convenient. The room is clean, breakfast is ok. The ladies in the breakfast rooms are very kind and helpful. The internet connection in the hotel is really bad.

Location could not be better, 2 minutes walk from the main square. The staff is one of best I've ever met, they speak english and are really happy to help you regarding anything. The breakfast is served with a very wide variety and it is really tasty. However the rooms are a bit noisy, you hear the noises from the...

I got a special rate via Booking.com for 46 Euros/night. Upon arrival in Bologna, I became severely sick and was hospitalized overnight - thus missing my reservation. I assumed I would still be charged the 46 Euros and accepted that loss. When I returned to the US and checked my bank statement, I was SHOCKED to discover that I was...

Dear guest, We usually welcome any criticism – as can easily be seen from our comments posted on Trip Advisor – with a constructive spirit and with a view to improving our services and amending our mistakes. Our room (18) had an incomparable view of rooftops and sky. Location was great. Close to everything in the city center. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Altogether, a great deal for the price. We would stay here again.

Very attractive hotel located a few blocks from Piazza Maggiore. Convenient to restaurants, shops, etc. Hotel is on the fourth floor -- there is an elevator. Everyone is friendly and helpful -- it's a great jumping off point for a visit to Italy.

I stayed for 2 nights and found the service and friendly staff very enjoyable. The solo room was adequate and clean. The mattress was comfortable. Breakfast was tasty with the usual pastries, hard boiled eggs, cheese, yogurt, and cold ham. As well there were cereals and breads. The espresso coffee machine made great coffee. I had an inside room which...

Location could not be better, very good value for the money. Singke room was no-frills, but large by contemporary standards. Breakfast, too, well beyond average by Italian standards. Staff very friendly and helpful. Even though I am a native Italian speaker, I appreciate that they also offer foreign TV channel, for example, CNN. This is not to be taken for...
