Except the breakfast which is nothing spectacular (but for a decent price), I was really charmed by this hotel. My room at 3rd floor, below the roof, felt really like a nest. I wish I could have been there with my wife, but I was there for business. And the city of Bologna is splendid on top of that!

Central but relatively quiet, very large clean (though a touch shabby) rooms, comfortable beds, decent breakfast, helpful, friendly staff. It was cold outside when we were there but the hotel remained warm. There is a nice outside courtyard for summertime. Also Franco Rossi restaurant is directly opposite. A good 3 star.

We were very happy with our room and the hotel in general. I can't understand some of the critical reviews because our experience was completely positive with no problems at all. We were in the part which used to be a convent and had a huge, spacious room with many thoughtful facilities: a table with 3 chairs; a desk and...

The room you get is very important here as some of them are a bit small. The reception was more than helpful and very accommodating. Breakfast really is first come first served so arriving later means many of the meats and fruit are gone. Excellent coffee as you would expect in Italy. Good value at the heart of Bologna.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife during the Cersie Fair. Great position in the centre of town. Only 30 metres from the main road that has shopping cafes and restaurants. Rooms were large, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was reasonable, nothing fantastic however was sufficient. Would stay here again just because of its central position.

We stayed in this hotel a few months ago all seemed well staff were nice, large room all be it dated. Then it all went wrong we had planned a trip to Florence so on the morning of the trip i opened the safe to get euros out but noticed right away my money wallet was a lot lighter,we counted the...

We had booked a whirlwind tour of Bologna, Florence and Pisa and Cavour would be our welcome to this wonderful part of the world. The reception team were professional and helpful and we were soon checked in. The room, whilst basic in terms of decor, was spacious and comfortable, with a window opening over a courtyard beneath guests could sit...

I'm not sure where the room in the ad picture is but it certainly wasn't our room! Our room smelled and had a bed with a slanty mattress so one would end up in the crack in the middle of the bed. Did not make for a good night's sleep. The shower was extremely small and plastic. And the big...

The worst Hotel I stayed in Italy. Photos of hotel are very deceiving. The room was dark, depressing. The bathroom was old. The power went out. The windows looked into the interior service courtyard. I could hear plumbing pipes of other rooms. The only positive is the location but stops there. I asked to pay cash at reception, which is...

The hotel is located in the very near proximity of the city center. Rooms are spacious and felt very modern and clean. It was just a 5 minutes walk to the very center with the narrow alley ways with all restaurant and great atmosphere. Breakfast is regular italian breakfast - meaning sweets and sugar. I'm not a big fan of...
