Booked a room for 2 nights and did not even realize I had reserved an apartment. Upon check-in, which was fast and efficient, we were informed of this and that the apartment was not in that same building but a couple of buildings over. I was disappointed because the lobby was so cute and I had seen pictures of the...

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Al Cappello Rosso during our 10 day trip to Italy. We both really enjoyed the hotel and would highly recommend it, here's why: - Location couldn't be better. You are right off the main square and 2 mins walk to some of the best restaurants, eateries, food markets in Bologna. You are...

A great hotel, centrally located in Bologna, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, very well maintained and had some highly enjoyable quirky additions (won't ruin the experience for other travellers). The quality of the food for breakfast was very good, overall this hotel made a major contribution to a highly enjoyable holiday in Bologna...

A very welcoming hotel with some rooms looking onto a quiet courtyard. It is in the middle of town and so easy to walk everywhere. Breakfast is fine and we also popped back for quick lunches. They suggested a special place to have dinner and were helpful with taxis. A small hotel with lots of character.

We've stayed in a lot of places, including other highly-rated hotels in Bologna, but I think I dream about coming back here the most. From the good proximity to the city and the main piazza (don't forget to go to the Tourist Info where they have great souvenirs for purchase), to the hospitality and good bed in our lovely bedroom,...

The location of the hotel really is as convenient as reviewers say - less than 100 metres from the main Piazza Maggiore. Despite this, there was very little noise - we only heard street noise on one night of our stay and that wasn't too bad. We were on the top floor, so heard nothing from other rooms. At first...

Really enjoyable stay at this great hotel situated in the centre of the historic city centre. The location couldn't be faulted and so close to everything. The staff were very helpful and they upgraded us to a superior room because it was a special wedding anniversary. The rooms were spotless, with everything you could want:- tea and coffee making facilities,...

Superb hotel offering Excellent service. Quite Quirky and Funky. Right in the Mix of it all and our room was covered in comic book designs which we thought were great. Easily accessible to some amazing restaurants, Look No further if you want a very good clean and welcoming hotel.

The hotel is located just off the central Piazza Maggiore. We were collected from the airport by arrangement and welcomed to our unique room dedicated to the minimalist American composer, John Cage. The room was spacious enough with a comfortable king size bed and modern bathroom. Complementary toiletries were generous. The room was kept very clean during our four night...

We stayed for 2 nights. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Reception staff were very helpful. Would recommend this hotel with its great location so close to the Main Square. We made use of their personal taxi service to and from the airport which was very efficient.
