In the absolute centre. Lovely hotel of character. My single room had a large marble bathroom. It was silent. Breakfast was fresh and plenty of variety and availabe over several hours. I spent four days there.

Warning: If you have difficulty climbing stairs, then this is not the place for you - the elevator is 1 1/2 flights up. Otherwise, this is a pleasant property that is nicely located for walking around the town. What is it about Italian hotels and pillows? The pillows at the Orologio were like rolled-up towels stuffed into pillow cases. The...

Art Hotel Bologna is centrally located, right off the Piazza Maggiore. The hotel is steps away from shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions. It is a nice safe area, there are lots of people around day and night. There are benches in front of the hotel where local people hang out and talk. The central location does have its downside, however,...

To start with all the members of staff were polite and extremely helpful. Even though there is one flight of stairs to get to the lift, a member of staff helped us with our luggages. The room was spacious and very comfortable and the bathroom had adequate surfaces for toileteries. Slippers and bathrobe were available and there was also a...

We stayed three nights at Hotel Orologio in June 2013. I thought the hotel was good -- not a "very good" but still above "average". The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was impeccably clean with lots of old world charm, though some of the furnishings are showing their age. We were originally booked in a smoking...

We spent one night only at the Art Hotel Orologio in Bologna. Our first visit to the city. We managed to get to the hotel, from the airport by bus, without any hassles. Situated in the centre of the old city it was a perfect location for all the sightseeing and restuarants. We were greeted by friendly staff. Our luggage...

We could walk anywhere we needed to go (even late at night), especially for restaurants, sightseeing..etc. The staff was very helpful, and it was nice they...
