If you arrive to Urbino via train: arrive to the Pesaro station and purchase a ticket for €3.70 on the #46 bus. Departs from stall G-H outside of Pesaro station. It will drop you in the Borge Mercatale in Urbino. Walk to information desk and purchase a ticket for the elevator (.50) up to the historic center. Albergo Italia is...

We spent one night here in a "classic double", driving up to the hotel and parking on the street to check in before taking the car to the large parking lot below. The 4th floor room was average size for a European room and a bit small by American standards. The bathroom had a towel warmer, which was handy for...

This is a nice modern 3 star hotel in the middle of town. If you arrive by car and don’t have mobility issues do not drive the narrow streets to the hotel. Rather drive to Piazza Mercatale just outside the walls. Drop your bags and someone in your party off at the entrance to the elevator (look at Google maps)....

This is a nice hotel, very conveniently located in the centre of Urbino. Very decently priced, but it did not live up to some of the write ups here. The room was very small and simple as it gets. However, if you are there to explore, it is perfectly fine.

A very good standard hotel with a central location - only 5 minutes walk from all the major sights. The rooms themselves are a little underwhelming in terms of amenities. However the breakfast Tom and breakfast selection are really good. Friendly and helpful front desk staff.

Good hotel in located in the center of Urbino. We parked in the main lot and took elevator up to street 100 yards from hotel, very convenient. Good room, nice breakfast area, elevator. No complaints at all.

Just had a week at the Albergo Italia and was very satisfied. Great location. Spacious bedroom and bathroom, spotlessly clean with a really good hot powerful shower. My room was at the back and was very quiet. Lots of choice at breakfast. At the end of the week we had a problem with our airport transport not turning up (long...

Not only is the location absolutely wonderful near all major sites- the palazzo ducale, major museums and churches but you are very near fun bars to people watch- and Urbino has many interesting people both those living in the city and visiting.lovely breakfast clean rooms perhaps a bit on the spartan side.

Centrally located, clean, basic rooms, ditto bathrooms (with some very European non-loop flat linen towels), desk staff ranging from very helpful to helpful when pressed (all could interchangeably work at an independent bookstore), good breakfast with pretty outdoor terrace and even larger terrace tucked below for lounging/reading. Dining room staff will make a cappuccino if you ask. Serious DIY travelers...

We stayed at the Albergo Italia for five weeks during the summer of 2016 while I engaged in an intensive study abroad program. The staff is, and was friendly and professional everyday. I cannot recall a single unsatisfactory incident, in fact, they were often especially helpful with our requests (of which there were several). The location is central to everything...
