Perfect place in the heart of Rome, with all the comforts you need, Giacomo fill up the fridge with food and drinks all the time. The rooms have wi-fi, an apple computer,tv,dvd and cd player. Also a library of dvd´s in the kitchen. Giacomo is the most perfect host i met, sometime he came with a bottle of wine and... More

Even though Giacomo was not here during our stay, his mother welcomed us and showed us around. It is very well located near Termini and Vittorio Emmanuele metro stations, and it makes you really feel at home. The room was nice, ventilated, full of light. The internet works beautifully and there is food available always. Great place to fall in... More

We were Giacomo's guests at Asian Delight for 4 nights in February, 2012, and we absolutely loved it. The eclectic design of the apartment was intriguing and quite delightful, the constant supply of snacks and excellent coffee was very much appreciated, the warm cosiness of the rooms during a snowy week in Rome was fabulous, and Giacomo's warmth and friendliness,... The place offers only two rooms and it is on the third floor of a unit building near Termini station. If u have google maps on your mobile it is very easy to find as the street number is well marked outside the street building door. I totally agree with the previous positive reviews and couldn't explain the place any... More

Great apartment for a short stay in Rome. Room has attractive bare walls - very villa-in-Tuscany feel with funky art deco furniture, your own apple mac with internet and a massive tv and dvd player. The self contained bathroom in a box is fun and has a great shower. Location is great - near metro, termini station, restaurants and a... More

Everyone said this wasn't the best part of town, but we had no issues and never felt unsafe. We spent many nights in the neighborhood, eating, drinking, walking. It was lovely. This bed and breakfast is in an apartment building. It's really like an apartment with 3 bedrooms and a common room. When we got there, the owner met us... More

Stayed for 3 nights in Asian Delight B&B. It was in a good location only 10 minutes walk to the train station (where you could also get all the tickets for the sightseeing buses), and about 6 minutes from Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. There was a Pastarito only 5 minutes away and other diners and eateries around. Only 5-10... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
