I rated 0 for everything because when I arrived, I found the hotel closed and locked...and no one answered the door after multiple knocks and ringing the doorbell. After writing to them to request the money back...I receive this email: Good morfina, we talk ed about it With booking .Com and we had let them know that You not given...

This place is horrid!!! The company will send you an email asking for an arrival time...we sent one back with our time and received a response back saying that would be fine, they would be there and we could check in. When you find it you have to wait for someone to come out before going in because the buzzer...

This hostel is good for the price and the area is good central.. The furnisher is ok but bathroom very antic. The staff were friendly but careless and very noisy as the hostel is just an apartment with 3 bathroom and the hall is the main desk so the are at 8:00 in the morning shouting and arguing ... It's...

At first things started off a bit rocky; I don't speak a lot of Italian and Olga, my lovely hostess doesn't speak a lot of English but we managed to get through the initial organisation of city tax payment, explaination of which key opens which door etc. Olga cleaned the room daily and changed the sheets and towels every 3...

At first when I got to via Cialdini I could not find the B&B because there are no signs for it on the building. Finally we found the right place. There office is on the left building if you're facing Termini. Look for Cialdini inn and press the call button. You will meet with Olga she's the caretaker of the...

We spent 2 nights here; rooms are in a huge apartment complex with 3-4 wings. The booking mentioned "Please let B&B Fanti know your expected arrival time in advance." I called them up and spent about 15 minutes 'trying' to explain that we'd arrive after 10PM, to 4 people, none of them who understood or spoke any English. After arriving,...

Yes, I agree with some reviews...it was a bit of a rocky start, but it all worked out well.. 1) First of all its NOT a hotel, but apartments converted into hotel rooms with a shared kitchen. 2) FINDING IT - Its a bit of a hassle as no sign board put up at all, you have to buzz the...

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The location was absolutely horrific and felt incredibly dangerous. I am a student studying abroad so saving money is a priority for my friends and I. But if I was you, I would spend the money and get a better place to stay. The location was okay and close to the...

This sort of accommodations would have sufficed. I wasn't very picky, and didn't eat much. But when you're told you get bed and breakfast, you at least expect to get bed and breakfast. Well, Cialdini Inn has some bed and nothing more going for it. Well, except the wifi, which worked most of the time. The breakfast is a joke....

For all of you who like to travel and cheap. I believe as a hotel management student and as a person who loves to travel that yes, bed and breakfasts are not the best hotels and they don't have the best accommodations, but they at least need to have what the description of the hotel offers. I'm going to be...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
