We had a brilliant time at this Hotel, the rooms were beautifully furnished in Italian style, very clean and well appointed. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. It was a delight to have breakfast on the roof terrace with its amazing views. The position of the Hotel is excellent for site seeing and we would not... More

We had a similar experience: we arrived after traveling Orlando-London-Rome (exhausted) and told our room was given to someone else and they would pay for a taxi to another hotel.....just for the first night. Nice. I had reserved about 7 months in advance.....guess that wasn't good enough. The next five nights were uneventful and the room was good. The location... More

We stayed in Rome for four nights starting May 9th. When we arrived on Thursday evening we were told that the room was not ready (the former guest had not checked out because he was sick) and we had to stay in another building two streets away. The room was okay and clean but not up to the hotel's standards.... More

I've been to the Romanico Palace for 4 nights from May 6th, I had a wonderful stay here with my fiance. Our room was beautiful with hand made decoration and frescos. Everything was perfect from the check-in, the breakfast, the room, the friendly staff and the service. We emailed the hotel before of arrival, telling that we were going to... More

We stayed in the Romanico Palace Hotel for 3 nights at the end of April and it was by far the WORST hotel we have ever stayed in. The front desk were rude and dismissive and they actually assigned us to a room that someone was already staying in!!! When we opened the door, we saw stuff already scattered about... More

Dear Guest, thank you very much for writing your review, we really care about our customer's opinion and suggestions. We have verified that the mistake about the room given (which was already occupied by other guests) was due to a bug in our Hotel System which gives automatically the vacant room every day. We really apoligize for this inconvenient and... More

The location is quite good, it was an easy 25 minute walk to the Pantheon. It is located near foreign embassies so there is a high level of security in the area, we felt safe walking back to the hotel even in the early hours of the morning. The room was very kitch and very worn. There were missing handles... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
