This hotel is in a great location, walking distance from all of Rome's hottest tourist spots including the Vatican, Spanish Steps, Collosseum, Via Del Corso, and restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Amazing views across Rome from the rooftop restaurant. Satisfactory typical Italian breakfast. Hot component consisted only of over cooked scrambled eggs and pancetta. Pastries and bread unfortunately were not...

This hotel Is very much a facade. The staff are excellent but the standard of comfort is very low . There are no tea and coffee facilities in the room. The pillows are rock hard ! And when softer ones were requested we were told "they are all the same". There are not enough towels provided and our room had...

We stayed here in January 2017, on arrival the front of house staff were really friendly, we were too early to check in, so they took our bags and gave us a map of the city and pointed out good areas to visit and directions. Our room was very spacious and grand looking. The room was cleaned everyday we were...

We stayed here for a total of 6 nights, we were in two different type rooms but the best was on the 6th floor in a superior type room, we had an upgrade, the buffet breakfast had a good selection of cold meats, fruits, pastries etc and scrambled eggs, bacon etc and bread. Plenty of fruit juices and tea and...

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast had a nice variety of food/beverages which we really enjoyed. The Romanico Palace hotel certainly has a style of its own: it embraces the baroque wherever it can. Rest assured, it has electricity, hot and cold running water and Wi-Fi, but the decoration is baroque. This makes for some interesting contrasts: our room had a small baroque desk and above it was a large flat-screen TV. Breakfast is served in...

To get from the centre one needs to climb a pretty steep hill to the hotel. Room was nice and spacious for three people. Opulently decorated - edging on tacky at times. All in all a good hotel but would choose another location next time.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
