I originally booked The Pantheon Inn but when we arrived I was informed that there had been a mistake and was asked to move to this hotel (same family I think) The entrance is up a small side street a few metres away from the Barbarini Metro station. In terms of location it's perfect to visit every part of Rome....

As the name implies, it is more of a guest house located on the second floor of a building. A small traditional elevator will take you up to the second floor, though bare in mind that it is a bit narrow for 2 people with their luggage. However, you may take the stairs which are pretty broad. Once entered, a...

This hotel was very clean and well run. It is RIGHT next to metro near Barberini Square. It is a bit of a walk to either the Vatican (brisk 30-40 mins) or to Roman Forum (20-30 mins) but is 5 mins from Spanish Steps, 15 from Trevi, Plaza Novona or Pantheon. Breakfast was VERY basic and simple (but upgrades were...

Well located, we found it easy to walk or walk to a bus to all major tourist attractions. Rooms were very clean, though three of us shared a room making space a little tight and the third person was on a collapsible bed. Staff were very helpful, except the breakfast staff were nowhere to be seen and replenishing eaten stock...

We stayed here for 2 nights in September. We were impressed from first sight. It is on a small side street near Barberini Square with the big wooden doors so typical in Rome fronting the street. It is a small boutique hotel and that is also part of the charm. It is an easy walk to the Trevi fountain, Spanish...

The key advantages are location, location, location. That being said, the room for two was very small, the two single beds pushed together to make a double were odd, and an inch difference in height, and there were no tea/coffee facilities. With one exception, staff were excellent and helpful.

We had 1 night in Rome and this hotel was just right. It was near Barberini plaza and within walking distance to Trevi Fountain. Nothing fancy, but well maintained. Breakfast in the room. Management wa very nice and recommended a fantastic place for dinner!

They don't turn their air conditioner on until June, so we tried to sleep with the window opened but it was too noisy outside. The walls are paper thin, and around 10:30pm a couple checked in who were SO LOUD. We were a ways down the hall from reception, so it's not like we were right next door but it...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
