I highly recommend this hotel. If you want to be close to the train station. I stayed here for a couple of days and since I wanted to be close to the train I thought this was the most reasonable place. The price is right and you get the right amount of attention. The breakfast was really nice too. Just...

All three of the front-desk receptionists that we encountered displayed exceptionally warm service, which is a highlight of the stay at this hotel. The quadruple room that we booked was comfortable and elegantly furnished with all the basic amenities that one would expect of a hotel. The space was a bit tight for four people, but space generally comes at...

Very convenient to the central train station without the noice. Walkable distance to coluseum and a few restaturants. The rooms are pretty spacious, very modern and clean. The staff member who met and greeted us on arrival explemplified what good service and set the benchmark for all those in the hotel industry. He was very polite, cheerful, helpful and could...

It is within walking distance of Termini station, in a somewhat run-down and dirty neighborhood, on a relatively quiet street. We walked right by it at first, as there is no sign, only the name of the hotel on the glass door. Inside, everything is sleek and modern, and the staff is helpful. We had a corner room at street...

This hotel has modern decor and truly matches 3-star standard. Room size is decent, except the shower vestibule is a little small. Nice staff, reasonable internet price (2euro a day or 5euro for the entire stay), no problem with AC in hot June when I stayed, and really convenient location--can't be closer to the Roma Termini. The only thing that...

We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed the location and room! Angelo at the front desk was very friendly and always eager help out anyway he could! We stayed in a quad room (#300) and it was tight with 4 single beds in there but it worked out fine for the 2 nights we stayed. The room decor was...

We stayed 3 nights with friends. Great location close to main train station and they provided us with good directions to reach the hotel, very helpful especially at night. The staff were extremely helpful and recommended a great place to eat dinner. The breakfast room was lovely and the breakfasts were great, in fact they were the best we had...

Just got back from our Europe trip. We stayed 4 days in this hotel. Hotel is newly renovated and clean. Location is convineint for tourists. But the room we got ( room 101) was facing street and there were people outside talking and laughing every night till 1am which made it very difficult to fall in sleep. We e-mailed the...

Firstly, it has a small plate on the wall outside, no large signage like adjacent hotels, so until you get your bearings it is a little hard to locate. However the hotel was compact, the internal layout was a little strange but it was very clean and the decor was good. . The room was a good size, in very...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
