We booked this hotel as friends recommended it, having stayed here themselves . We were not disappointed, the location is central to everything, being within walking distance of absolutely everything we wanted to see. Surrounded by Piazzas, churches and places of beauty and historical interest. And restaurants, there must be 50 within a 10 minute walk. Staff at the hotel...

Rome is jam packed full of interesting finds around every corner and Hotel Barrett is just the same. This hotel will be different to anything you have ever experienced. The foyer, hallways and the room and filled with interesting paintings, sculptures, fountains, tables - the list goes on - it's quirky but fun. The room, as previously mentioned, is tightly...

Stayed at the hotel with a friend for her birthday the week before Christmas for 5 nights. First of all, the hotel is centrally located, a 5 minutes walk to the Pantheon and within walking distance of the Colosseum and Forum. Your windows not only overlook ancient ruins where Caesar disregarded the Ides of March, but also a major bus...

I stayed for a week at Pensione Barrett in September. It was actually my 5th stay at Pensione Barrett in Rome. Once again, I absolutely loved my stay there. Michele, the owner, was again very attentive to his guests. He takes time to make all sorts of recommadations of great things to see, which often you can't find in the...

Hi, I'm Andrea, an Irish woman who stayed in Hotel Pensione Barrett a few months ago, I was recommended by Adriana who lives in Rome. The owners of the hotel were such a lovely warm and welcoming couple, and the hotel has a magical and unique atmosphere. Cinzia was particularly kind and helpful and such a fountain of knowledge about...

We were slightly put off by the quirky website but so glad we booked here. Michele was an excellent host, providing maps, walking tour directions and restaurant suggestions. He also recommended lesser-known sights, all of which were gems. Our room was rather small but overlooked the courtyard at the rear so very quiet. The location was excellent, within easy walking...

I doubt if you will ever find a better place to stay. The location is perfect within walking distance of most locations and areas, but also right by the bus stop too. The rooms are magnificent, they are equipped with everything you could imagine. Breakfast which is in your room even includes a hotdog machine and your own coffee machine....

Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
