A nice property nestled in the busy streets of trastevere, super convenient to public transportation and great restaurants. The rooms, although sparse, are big and comfortable. The courtyard is a lovely little oasis and must be a great bonus in the warm weather.

This was a great choice of hotel for my first visit to Rome. Just off the main road where you can get on a tram or bus to the city center, there was no traffic noise. Our room with its beamed ceiling and old-fashioned keys was charming. Although a bit small, it was larger than many New York City rooms...

We arrived to be met by a very friendly young man who was knowledgeable about the area, gave us information about sights to see & transportation & we immediately felt at home. Our room definately had the wow factor - it was huge & had an enormous bathroom with a jacuzzi bath for 2. The breakfast was good & plentiful...

This hotel has an old-fashioned charm and it's location in Trastevere is perfect. You can find local restaurants and cafes nearby and even an English bookshop which has been there a long time. The only down side to this hotel is the first impression: the office is on a side street where the pull down shutters of other businesses are covered with graffiti. Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
