Just returned. If you are looking for a personal, intimate, luxury experience with impeccable service in a perfect Rome location, this is it. It's as if you are staying as guests of Ferragamo. No big crowds. Very few rooms that are perfectly appointed. Amazing terrace with an incredible view that all guests can enjoy. Enjoy the Rome mania during the...

Pity Cannot give 5 ! Service , generosity of management and location was 5/5 . So rich terrace breakfast. But our room 3 !! was small without view like a prison window very close to the next building . No restaurant no lobby: like a private but very expensive apartment room. Could be the perfect place to stay in Rome

This was my fourth visit to Portrait Roma with my daughter and this is still my number one hotel . The rooms are large by central Rome standards and the addition of a small kitchen tucked behind stylish dark doors and a lovely large marble bathroom make for a really comfortable stay . The location is wonderful . From the...

Everyone is friendly, helpful, and eager to assist you. You will feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The location off Via Condotti could not be more centrally located for shopping. The dining recommendations were accurate, with many good choices within easy walking distance. Breakfast is served until 11:00 am which allows you to sleep in and still enjoy eating...

We stayed at Portrait Roma for 3 days in late September. We were in room 433, which is a large well appointed suite. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, breakfast and evening cocktails are served on the 7th floor terrace- a lovely place to watch the sun set over Rome. The hotel is very near the Spanish Steps...

We just can't say enough good things about the Portrait hotel. It was our lovely oasis in the heart of Rome and everyone made us feel welcome and at home. Chic and tasteful and our room was very comfortable with plenty of space. We loved the Ferragamo bath amenities. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Rome. Top Notch!...

This is a super stylish hotel that couldn't be better positioned to enjoy the best of Rome. It is a stone's throw from the Spanish steps and you get a wonderful panorama of the city from the rooftop restaurant. The rooms are smallish but cool and well-designed, with everything you need for a city break. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable...

Rome is no doubt my favorite city! So we were here in spite of a delay. As we have been in this great city several times, we this time chose only the strolling around. As always, there's a lot if possibilities for shopping and eating; we did both, of course.

Stayed here for 2 nights in Rome and was very pleased. Small boutique hotel with exceptional service. Rooms are modern and very comfortable. Great attention to details. Location is in the heart of Rome minutes from the Spanish steps and surrounded by the top designer fashion stores. They cleaned our room and let us check in by 10am after a...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
