She will tell you where to eat, which is great. Rome is expensive, so you would want good roman food at a reasonable price. Do inform her in advance of...

Staying at Night & Day makes you feel like you're staying at the home of a friend. Monica greets you with a map marked with all the best places to go, and she was often around in the summer as her other staff were on holidays, so we also chatted a few times over coffee or breakfast. Really recommend asking...

The amount of knowledge Monica knows is amazing! Se greeted us at 9pm at night when we arrived. Gave us a full run down on where everything was and best places to eat. The hostel is clean and tidy. I would have no hesitations in staying here again.

Night and Day was an amazing place to stay. We arrived in the afternoon and were very warmly greeted by Monica. She was extremely generous with her time and gave us both a detailed overview of Rome. She drew up a map of important places to see, restaurants to try and gelato that was not to be missed. The hostel...

Stayed in June 2011. The location could not have been better. Monica was so nice and helpful. She gave us a map of all the best restaurants and sights in Rome. We were 4 friends travelling (had 2 rooms), and shared a bathroom with a third room. There was a small kitchen for cooking. Free breakfast (coffee + pastry of...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.

“We stayed in the double with a shared bathroom. I think it was the red one shown in the hotel's main image. The room was perfect. It was huge, the ceilings were high and there was lots of storage room. There was a large mirror and a desk. The room was very quiet (I expect the other rooms would also be quiet as the hotel is situated on a small street with little night time traffic). Although we didn't use them, the room also had an additional single bed and a child's cot. These extra beds did not cause any problems, the room was more than big enough to accommade them.”
